As time progress, females go through a dramatic change which is under the Confucius philosophy of the notion of men are breadwinners, and women are housekeepers, having the fairer working environment between males and females in these years. More and more women join in the workplace, and the employed women stand firm in office gradually between mainland and Taiwan. In this context, what kind of challenge or obstacles they will face on? This study will focus on a group of female executives’ experts, and following the Effects of the Glass Ceiling. Try to understand the four points:(1) self-limitations of the mindset; (2) family factors; (3) affects of the organization; (4) the aspects of the Chinese culture.In addition to the use questionnaire survey in the paper,21 depth interview respondents said that family factors are the main obstacles to their work or promotion, but most of the respondents did not feel that there is a disadvantage to women for the organization structure. In other words, compared with seniority and political factors, they didn’t feel that sex factors were the key factors in the career advancement barrier, which also showed that respondents female civil servants, did not form a clear "female consciousness"Overall, this study found that men and women civil servants regardless of in the objective aspect of promotion or supervisor level has significant difference, on behalf of the administrative department of our country is the existence of the "glass ceiling" effect, blocking the female top job opportunities for career advancement. But from the limitation of time series data, with the promotion of female human capital factors, and gender factors gradually mining open attitude, women in a number of senior positions have increasing trend, but increased speed is still slow; unless the government policy can take a more positive approach to women’s practice, no side of the next few years can be expected, it is not possible to produce a basic change,and the glass ceiling effect is still strong in the organization.Finally, according to the researcht, in reference to foreign experience, respectively from the aspects of government, society, organizations and individuals, try to put forward to break the glass ceiling policy advice, the following three conclusions are drawn, the result showed that:(1) Different of men and women aspiring on leadership (2) Women have to take care of family (3) The trend of job responsibility system. At last part of this research, researcher will give some suggested and advice for who may face on the changing of future of human resource market of cross-strait woman workship. |
