| The middle school students of Republican Period, as a new "group", appeared on the education historical stage. They deduced actively and vigorously a landscape with infinite vitality. During the period, they became the fashion trendsetters, served as the daring vanguard in revolutionary movement, did as the torchbearer of the mass education, explored as practitioners of progressive ideas. They accelerated the process of the changes of the times to some degree. Student’ life history is the important composition of the life history of Education. Presenting the middle school students’ life mode through all aspects, multi-level, multi perspective, the whole situation of the education can be grasped. The research value of the middle school students’ life history include the following two aspects:on the one hand, it can restore the original ecological education landscape, on the other hand, it can provide certain historical lessons and experience for today’s deepening of educative reform.The part of Introduction mainly discusses the reason and interests and research value of this selected topic, briefly introduces the interrelated concepts, meanwhile, sketches the contours of the academic history and research status of the theme of "Secondary education" and "Student life history", etc, elaborates on the theory and research technique, tries to summarize the whole article from macroscopic view.Chapter One, "The Middle School Students in the Modern Historical Changes", presents the origin and creation of middle school education from the angle of education system reform and cultural change, and in the process of cultural change, the change of middle school students’ life, then finds the complex relationship of interconnection, mutual condition and promoting each other between the politics, culture and education.Chapter Two presents "Learning Life of the Middle School Students in the Period of the Republic of China". Learning life is the primary content of the school life. Students’ classroom learning cannot do without the teachers’ teaching. This chapter tries to show the original dynamic of the classroom learning through the rich and varied learning content and smart and colorful teaching methods. The students’ autonomous learning mainly focused on the library and self-study rooms and some students looked for "Light source" places by themselves. Middle school students faced a variety of multiple tests, such as temporary examination, routine examination, graduation examination, entrance examination and so on. Different students had different attitude toward these tests. Some of them studied hard for competing for the honors, and others possessed the doctrine of sixty points. In order to cope with these examinations, the phenomenon of staying up all night working, stopping test, cheating in the exam began to appear. This chapter mainly analyzes the love between teachers and students, and the confrontation between teachers and students owing to the factors of the faculty level, school management and so on. At the same time, it also analyzes the phenomenon of mutual indifference between teachers and students. During the period of the republic of China, middle school students started to change opinions about love, the idea of free love started to germinate. In order to return society, they took part in all kinds of social activities, and the culture education improving the intelligence of the public. In addition, students listened to all kinds of academic reports, speeches, and found various recreational activities in order to get rid of upset.Chapter Six is "The Middle School Students and the Life of the Middle School Students and Social Change in the Period of the Republic of China". During the period of the republic of China, the middle school students became an important group of social change. They became the pioneer which awakened the masses, fresh force of shaking the social structure, as well as the body of the revolutionary movement. At the same time, they became the pioneer of opening society atmosphere. Their way of life influenced the trend of social life.
