In today's China, with rapid social changes, profound adjustment of interest relations, as well as a variety of conflicts and contradictions all appear extensively in the process of modernization. Moreover, the rapid development of information technology, the rise of the network society has given these contradictions and conflicts a new form of expression, bringing a new pattern for contemporary China's social and political growth, coupled with a series of new challenges concerning social management, coordination of interests, ideological education, Integration and other aspects. As the social conflict present in the Internet, network group events often cause huge social repercussions, which have a strong impact on the politic, economy, culture and public psychology, value selection and behavior of the whole society. Thus, the research on the generation and evolution of network group events and its response, guidance, transformation and disposal has also been of great theoretical and practical value. It has aroused great attention in the academic fields including social management, ideological education, network communication, etc. Based on the materialist conception of history, this paper systematically studies the network group events through the methods of case analysis, mathematical modeling and questionnaire survey, using the knowledge of management, sociology, communication and group psychology. Basic characteristics, causes and the law of evolution will be explained and effective measures for prevention and disposal will be put forward.The so-called network group events, refers to the number of users in order to focus on a number of specific purposes around the hot issues in the public sphere of the network, the convergence of views and thus affect the real life of the mass incidents."
