The image of moral education, is an important field in the research of moral education, it is also a major task of moral education research. The thought and behavior of people living in such a rich and colorful image world are influenced bythe effects of image. The effect of image is often spontaneous, not formed consciously. Integrating the image into the field of moral education research, focusing on the study of the image of the moral education, exploring the connotation and essence, the characteristics and rules, the approaches and methods of the image of moral education systematically, promote the theoretical innovation and practical development of the image of moral education, influence people's thought and behavior from spontaneously to consciously, from experimentally to scientifically, from occasionally to consequently.The basic idea of study on the image of moral education is following by the order of "asking questions, analyzing problems, solving the problem", focuses on answering the following questions:"Why do we study the image of moral education?", "what is the image of moral education?", "How to effectively carry out the image of moral education?" etc., and probes into the value, basis, connotation, essence, types, structure, characteristics,pattern, approach, method of the image ofmoral education,tries to construct the theoretical frame of the image of the moral education, and promote the theoretical innovation and practical development of the image of moral education.The first part focuses on the significance of the research by studying the origin, reason and value of the image of moral education, clarifying the objectivity, inevitability and necessity, especially the realistic urgency, emphasizing and demonstrating the research of the image of moral education is the requirement of innovating the theory of moral education, improving the actual effect of moral education, and promoting the integrated development of the students.The second part explores the basis of the image of moral education. The the inner basis, theoretical basis and practical basis constitute the basis of the image of moral education. The inner basis represents the physiological structure of human brain, competence of thinking. The theoretical basis mainly refers to the scientific discussion on Marx's image of moral education, and the ancient Chinese and western social moral discussions about image provide referential ideological resource for the image of the moral education. The practical basis mainly refers to the practice carrying out at all times and in all over the world provides an objective basis for the image of the moral education. The unity of inner basis, theoretical basis and practical basis provides a strong support to the study, foundation, and development of the image of moral education.The third part focuses on the essence of the image of moral education. By discussing the difference between the image and the image of moral education, and the difference between the image of moral education and moral education theory, the study summarizes and states the scientific connotation, reveals the essence of the image of moral education. The study also claims clearly that the image of moral education is a social practice of cultivating, shaping, and improving people's ideological and moral quality by using vivid image. In order to deepen the understanding of the connotation and essence of the image of moral education, the essence of the image of moral education is to enlighten people's thought with image, represents some essential characteristics.The fourthpart focuses on analyzing the structure of the image of moral education. The image of the moral education is a system composed of artistic image, life image, natural image, virtual image of moral education, these four elements or subsystems contact, combine and act on each other in a certain way to construct the system of the image of moral education. Based on the analysis of the structural defect of the image of moral education, in order to improve the overall effect, the study emphasizes the life image as the leading, optimizes the structure of the image of moral education systematically.The fifth part reveals the law of the image of moral education. Based on the analysis of the process of the image of moral education, the study reveals the inherent laws. With the image as the center and context, the objective process of image discovery, shaping, transmission, recognition, following emerge. This paper analyzes the essential relationship among the process of the image of moral education, puts forward the objective inherent law of the process, including the law of the unity of form and spirit, law of reasonable blend, law of host-guest induction, law of match word to deed. To carry out the image of moral education activities, improve the actual effect of moral education, the objective law must be always followed.The sixth part summarizes the approaches and methods of the image of moral education. To effectively carry out the image of moral education, people should not only follow the objective law, but also explore the approaches and methods of the image of moral education. The approaches include classroom approach, art approach, practice approach, media approach, network approach, personality approach etc. The methods include the typical method of education, art appreciation method, intuitive education method, simulation method, environment edification method, experience method, emotional resonance method, words and deeds law etc. In order to improve the effectiveness of the image of moral education, people have to master the specific approaches and methods.
