A Research Of The Medicine-related Articles In The Pre-qin And Two Han Dynasties

Modern subject divides literature and medicine into two distinct disciplines since they have reflected different development trends and social functions.However in ancient China,literature and medicine,both derived from the traditional Chinese culture,had blended with each other.So emerges a particular literary phenomenon—the medicine-related articles.As is revealed,the medicine-related articles had existed in the Pre-Qin and Two Han Dynasties,the preliminary period for its beginning and its early development.Our research,based on the definitions and development of the medicine-related articles in the Pre-Qin and Two Han Dynasties,attempts to explore the mutual blending relation between medicine and literature from the following these perspectives.We start to study profoundly the medical literary documents of the Pre-Qin and Two Han Dynasties,currently excavated or already existing,to interpret how the medical background of the medicine-related articles has evolved.Next,we investigate the medical record,as the narrative type with the feature of both literature and medicine.In doing so,we are able to trace the birth and early development of the medical record in the Pre-Qin and Two Han Dynasties.Thirdly,the medical terms from the literary works,like herbalism,regimen,disease,and treatment,are textually discussed in our research to clarify the first interaction of medicine and literature in the Pre-Qin and Two Han Dynasties and the influence of medicine on literature as well.Fourthly,the second interaction between medicine and literature,the blending of Medicine of Tao and literature of Tao,is explained and elaborated based on "to govern the state"—the mutual ideal for both the medicine experts and literary scholars.Furthermore,By analyzing the relationship between the medicine and literature and the mutual influence of other general academic in The Pre-Qin and Two Han Dynasties,we considered the medicine-related articles was caused by the fused of the ancient Chinese academics.And lastly,our research analyzes and summarizes the paradigm and features of the medicine-related articles in the Pre-Qin and Two Han Dynasties and the substantial influence on the further relevant researches.The ancient Chinese academics are characterized by the complicated interaction of various disciplines.Our research,from the mutual interaction between medicine and literature,is greatly expected to further explore the interdisciplinary perspective of these two fields.It might further provide certain insights into the study of the Chinese classical literature.
