Contemporary China (1949-2010) Study Of The Acceptance History Of Foreign Literary Theory

The foreign literary theories,which can be divided into many literary schools,are the products of social reality,cultural trends and literary practice in western world.Since the foundation of PRC,the foreign literary theories represented as Soviet Russia,Germany,the United States,Britain and France have been on the stage of history with unique theoretical and social influences and has spread into China.They have brought great influence on the fields of literary theories,literary.critics,literary creation and literary education.This thesis,based on the principle of "adhering to our own and absorbing others",the overall characteristic of foreign literary theory acceptance in new China,makes a comprehensive review and discussion on the acceptance process and effect of Soviet Social Realism,Classical Marxism Theory of Literature,Russian Formalism,German Frankfort School,New British Criticism,French Structuralism,Deconstructionism,American Post-colonialism and Eco-criticism in China,which aims to get the important and special situation,mode,pattern and point of time from the acceptance of foreign literary theory,criticism,creation and education in contemporary China.With the approach of a reductive interpretation about history,literature and culture,the thesis makes an overall grasp of the acceptance genealogy of the foreign literary theories in contemporary China,which provides resources and references for intellectual and academic history for the construction of theoretical discourse of socialist literature and art with Chinese characteristics and the promotion of literary criticism,creation and quality of literature education.
