The thesis carries out a comparative research on the reversed-lexicon base d on the corpus amounting to about 1700 pair of disyllable reversed-wordscorr espondent between AB(positive sequence)in Chinese and BA(reversed sequen ce)in Korean, which is taken from The Dictionary of Korean.Based on the disyllable Chinese character in Korean and the correspondent disyllable reversed-words in Chinese, the thesis analyzes the categories, the w ord-formation features and the sense of the disyllable reversed-lexicon,and figu res out the relation and their difference and similarity. To sum up,the disyllable reversed-lexicon in Chinese and English can cat egorize into three:meaning entry, word formation, semantic sense.First they are different in meaning entry and word formation.Concerning semantic sense,bo th of them are synonymous,partially-synonymous and contrary in sense which is narrated in detail. Then the meaning entry is illustrated in four sections base d on six hypotheses while it analyzes and explains difference and similarity of the word formation. It reveals that from the perspective of semantic sense the disyllable reversed-lexicon in Chinese and English are synonymous, synonymo us in same morphemes andcontrary in sense and specific inverted-words,under the condition of same morphemes shared in Chinese and Korean.
