| Objective:Studies on Taiwan TCM master Zhang Bu-Tao of his experience to treat diseases of gynaecology by using the doctrine formula and the background to the formation of his academic thoughts, that provide the reference for different geographical TCM doctor better inheritance Zhong-Jing’s academic ideas.Methods:(1) By collecting doctor Zhang’s 25 books which have been published, academic speeches as the paper literature, to study the formation of doctor Zhang’s academic thought and the experience of treatment of gynaecology.(2) Collecting the original clinical record Excel files of five Jing-Gui-Yao-Lue doctrine formula (Dang-Gui-Shao-Yao-San, Won-Jing-Tang, Xiao-Cai-Hu-Tang, Xion-Gui-Jiao-Ai-Tang, Gui-Zhi-Fu-Lin-Wan) which at the outpatient service of gynaecology since 1997 to 2011,establishing database of cases, using the method of data mining, through statistical analysis and frequency in Apriori algorithm for mining association rules to search step by step iteration method, to statistic database which are: ①different age stages of gynaecology common disease in Taiwan; ②the treatment cases of gynecopathy by using five doctrine formula; ③what the gynaecological name of disease which five doctrine formula to treat most; ④the frequency of formula and single herbs which five doctrine formula add most; ⑤the frequency of name of disease and complained of symptoms; ⑥the relative frequency of doctrine formula,name of disease and chief complaint with herbs; ⑦the chief complaint which five doctrine formula treat most; ⑧five doctrine formula combined other formula to treat those name of disease and chief complaint; ⑨single herbs corresponding name of disease and chief complaint of frequency; ⑩the corresponding of five doctrine formula with single herbs and chief complaint; 11the dosage of changes while the main doctrine formula add various no herbs, and so on were studied.Results:1. Zhang Bu-Tao physicians have been profound experience of human sufferings and interested in herbs, at his age of 20 years old by choosing books of Zhen-Zu-Nang-Yao-Xin-Fu for extracurricular reading, strive to develop self-taught, extensive study of various kinds of TCM classics, especially admired Zhang-Zhon-Jing academic thought, choosing simple and cheap herbs, was the main characteristic of prescription medication, and finally become a master of TCM, worthy of our learning and imitate.2. Through the statistics of gynaecology of different age groups in Taiwan in this database: ①0 to 7 years old woman, the first five kind of disease, nausea, and vomiting, cough, cold, abdominal pain and allergic rhinitis symptoms frequently happened; ②8 to 14 years old woman with abnormal menstruation, dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain, allergic rhinitis, nausea and vomiting in the majority; ③15 to 28 years old woman with abnormal menstruation, dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain, tiredness and fatigue, acne problems are the most; ④29-35 years old woman, abnormal menstruation, dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain tumors, and infertility; ⑤36-49 women their disease is almost the same appearance with the early stage of the female, but the incidence of tumors improving accordingly; ⑥women over 50, due to Tai-Chon channels weaker, menstruation ended, tunnels obstacle, tiredness and fatigue, physical strength drops, abnormal menstruation, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, the disease shape of perimenopausal syndrome, tumors become first disease.3. The total amount of treatment record of five Jing-Gui-Yao-Lue doctrine formula as follows: Dang-Gui-Shao-Yao-San、Xiao-Cai-Hu-Tang、Xion-Gui-Jiao-Ai-Tang、Gui-Zhi-Fu-Lin-Wan、Won-Jing-Tang, but the proportion of all the decotions in gynecological medical record is as follows:Gui-Zhi-Fu-Lin-Wan、 Won-Jing-Tang, Xion-Gui-Jiao-Ai-Tang、Dang-Gui-Shao-Yao-San、Xiao-Cai-Hu-Tang. Reasonable explanation is Dang-Gui-Shao-Yao-San its treatment with wider range of gynaecology, so the most dosage were used; and Gui-Zhi-Fu-Lin-Wan、Won-Jing-Tang and Xion-Gui-Jiao-Ai-Tang in the treatment of disease of gynaecology its index pertinence is clear.4. The five doctrine formula his sort of disease frequency has, in turn, are as follows:menstrual abnormalities (21469)、dysmenorrhea (9268)、uterine fibroids (8991)、(not) pregnant disease (6305)、abdominal pain (3871)、tiredness and fatigue strength(-) (3160)、sleep disorders (2844)、low back pain (sore) (2593)、 endometriosis (2573)、leukorrhea(white) (2525)、ovarian tumor (1647)、nausea and vomiting (1214)、cold (1181)、pregnancy complications (655)、goiter (432).5. The top ten common diseases of the treatment of five doctrine formula, its frequency of their occurrence of top five correlation complained of pain are:dysmenorrhea. sleep disorders, blood stasis block, low back pain (sore), dizziness.6. Five doctrine formula commonly added herbs and its associated primary symptom:cyperus rotundus, salvia miltiorrhiza, are the top two highest frequency, every doctrine formula would add these two herbs in the decotion, as a high proportion. Some herbs to treat complained of relevance is as follows:rhizoma corydalis to treat dysmenorrhea complained of up to 42.52%; dodder treat infertlity(not pregnant) its ratio by 49.17%; aster to cure chest pain and constipation; forsythiae to cure acne (pimples), Herba agrimoniae to treat bleed ceaselessly, sleep disorder, lumbago(sore), dizziness, menstrual blood stasis, herba lycopi to treat menstrual blood stasis, pericarpium arecae to treat flatulence; rhizoma drynariae To treat lumbago (sore), radix dipsaci to treat lumbago (sore), blood stasis and block, menstruation delay, turmeric to treat chest pain is obvious, and all these correlation are higher.7. Five doctrine formula which added together or combined with recent doctrine to treat disease of gynaecology its correlation are as follows:dan-gui-shao-yao-san with Jia-wei-xiao-yao-san, its treatment of the first three abnormal are menstrual disorder of 38.92%, infertlity (not pregnant), dysmenorrhea, of 17.81% and 14.04%; gui-zhi-fu-lin-wan combine dan-gui-shao-yao-san in the treatment ratio of 44.21% of uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and ovarian tumor of 12.08% and 10.45%, obviously both combination remove tumors has its advantages.8. The herbs on the relationship between the combined with formula commonly used to treat diseases:radix achyranthis bidentatae, salvia miltiorrhiza, salvia miltiorrhiza to treat hysteromyoma; rhizoma corydalis, herba lycopi combined in treating dysmenorrhea, trigone combine herba lycopi or Dang-Gui-Shao-Yao-San,combine salvia miltiorrhiza and cyperus rotundus, to treat menstrual blood stasis and block, besides suberect spatholobus stem and salvia miltiorrhiza; or caulis spatholobi, Jia-Wei-Xiao-Yao-San,with cyperus rotundus to treat menstrual blood deficiency.Conclusion:1.From doctor Zhang’s growth experience and academic thought we can know that:strengthen the foundation of Chinese literature and keep on upgrading professional knowledge is the first step, the TCM classics is very important of all the field of TCM, good at grasp the key point of the doctrine, diseases differentiation has to find the reason, and the cure must point to target, think deeply to get the whole picture of its logic of diseases and treatment but remain flexible, ardent to all the patients, to carry forward the traditional Chinese medicine, to inherit the way of TCM, the Renaissance culture, as his own will, truly is the model of Zhong-Jing academic tradition.2. Summarize doctor Zhang’s using the five doctrine formula features:(1) Using ideas originated from Zhang Zhong-Jing, and based on the original cure to extend the treatment of the disease of gynaecology category, it shows that to imitate the wisdom of old but not to be bound, and to give the doctrine formula greater vitality.(2) Using doctrine formula by the flexible thinking:① "There is disease in the womb,there is no harm to the pregnancy by using herbs" such treatment using accurately; ②To treat all kinds diseases of gynaecology, either doctrine formula combined or mixed with recent formula,it had been used flexibly to that the same diseases in different way and different diseases but in same way,③Choosing formula and herbs emphasizing both qi and blood; ④In the treatment of extra gynecological diseases, with a special focus on adjusting both qi and blood, soothing liver, regulating spleen, resolving depression to conditioning the motion of patients, this spirit is the same with Zhang Zhong-Jing. |
