Licorice is not only an important Chinese herbal medicine,but also widely used in food industry.With the increasing demand of licorice,wild licorice resources can not meet the needs of the market,artificial cultivation of licorice has become an effective way to solve the contradiction between the supply and demand of Licorice Resources.Direct seeding method leads to dredge difficult and large labor consumption when harvest,because of it's low seedling survival rate,large quantity,long growth cycle,and deep roots.Research shows that licorice planting can use seedling transplanting.By this way,the licorice roots can grow strongly and healthily with good quality and high yield;and it is also easy for mechanized harvesting when harvest.Seedling transplanting is an ideal cultivation model for artificial cultivation of licorice.And the inclined transplanting licorice is superior to horizontal transplanting licorice in respect of adaptability and yield.Therefore,in this paper a licorice tilt transplanting was designed according to the agronomic requirements of seedling cultivation.Conclusions was as follows,1.On the basis of the investigation and Research on the domestic and foreign dry land transplanter and transplanting,statistical analysis was used to obtain the size parameters of transplanting licorice,In order to verify the feasibility of licorice seedlings vibration separation,a vibration separation sorting device was designed.The selection of the mode of separating seedlings based on the test results.2.The licorice horizontal seedling throwing tilt transplanting furrow opener which is the key components of the licorice tilt transplanter were developed.The analysis and experiment of the structure and work parameters of the opener were carried out,which provides the research foundation for the design of the licorice transplanting machine.In order to analyze the forming mechanism of the tilt transplanting furrow opener,the soil backflow model and seedling position parameter model was built.Through the analysis results of the mathematical model,a multi-factors orthogonal test for the opener was executed by changing the soil backflow port angle,the space between two wing plates,velocity,the furrower operating depth and the soil repose angle.The opener orthogonal test results show that main influencing factors of the inclined V type groove tilt angle is the soil backflow port angle.The primary and secondary order of the factors affecting the length of the ditch is:the furrow opener operating depth,the soil backflow port angle,the space between two wing plates,the soil repose angle and the velocity.The results also show that the formula built by mathematical model could be used for design the opener to make V type inclined groove.Through the seedling test,the opener working speed was the main factors affecting the angle of the licorice after horizontal seedling throwing tilt transplanting.Through the establishment of licorice seedling transplanting tilt angle parameter model,an optimized formula for optimizing the parameters of horizontal seedling throwing structure was built.Discrete element simulation optimization test based on the EDEM simulation software showed that In order to ensure the tilt angle of the seedlings after transplanting,the lag seedling coefficient value should be equal or greater than 1,and the lag seedling range should be equal or greater than 1.3.Through the analysis of the ifting state model on the lifting device,the initial state of ascension was determined which can achieve free ascension with no self locking.This paper designed the auxiliary seedling,seedling and seedling throwing device of licorice seedling,and the spatial structure of each component was also carried out.The licorice seedling tilt transplanting machine was designed based on the research above.Through field test verification,4 lines of licorice seedlings tilt transplanting machine worked well.The licorice seedling spacing after seedling can meet the requirements of the agronomic licorice seedling transplanting.Both the licorice seedling transplanting spacing errors and the licorice seedling transplanting depth errors are less than 5%,Licorice seedling tilt transplanting machine operation stability was good.
