Steel deep beams are new components to resist lateral force,which have the same placement with shear walls in frame structure.By changing width of the deep beam,we can have different resistance to lateral displacement stiffness to meet the requirements of two endpoints and achieve a wide range of stiffness gradient amplitude modulation.With different types of steel deep beams,we can achieve different strength,ductility and energy dissipation capacities.Steel deep beams are flexible layout and they are easy to the aisle and window layout.They can be used to the new structure as well as structural reinforcement.So they have theoretical research value and broad application foreground.Firstly,analyzing the study actualities about the deep beams around the world,the development and the behavior of steel deep beams are introduced.In this paper,low cyclic loading test method is employed to study on the experiment of two pieces of steel deep beams with different depth-width ratio infilled steel frame.By analyzing the hysteretic loops,skeleton curve,ductility and the energy dissipation performance of each specimen and so on,we can get the influence of different depth-width ratios steel deep beam on hysteretic behaviors.Results show: steel deep beams infilled steel frame can improve the bearing capacity by reducing depth-width ratio;steel deep beams infilled steel frame have good energy dissipation performance;steel deep beams can improve ductility of the pure steel framework;the steel deep beam can share horizontal load to a great extent,so that the load of the steel frame column is reduced;because the steel deep beam plays the first line of defense function,the whole frame is protected from damage.Secondly,non-linearity is introduced by finite element software ANSYS to precisely simulate the work.By comparing with the results of low-cycle loading test,the final results indicate that those two have a better match.So the results from analysis by finite element software ANSYS can be used safely.The result of the finite element model and test model can be concluded that: test hysteresis curve gather together because of the slipping of bolt joint of the column and steel deep beam with bottom beam;due to the existence of buckling bearing capacity,bearing capacity of the finite element model of SDBF-B significantly experiences up-down-up stage.Thirdly,the non-linearity method is applied to analyzing series of parameters which caninfluence the performance of steel deep beams structure system for getting the impact law of depth-width ratio,depth-thickness ratio of the steel plates,stiffening ribs,beam and column section.In order to play the better seismic performance in the engineering practice,depth-width ratio and depth-thickness can be given reasonably for the theoretical basis for engineering design.Fourthly,Steel deep beams infilled steel frame is proposed as a new type of lateral force resistance member.In order to study collaborative analysis of the structures,the structures are simplified as two different models-fixed joint and hinge joint between steel deep beam and steel frame.The viable interactive analysis model of steel deep beams infilled steel frame is obtained by contrasting two simplified models and experimental results.The resultant error of collaborative analysis can be controlled within 15%.Finally,time-history dynamic analysis of steel deep beams infilled steel frame is studied,and the main parameters include structural stiffness and height.With the change of structural stiffness,steel deep beams infilled steel frame are studied under frequent earthquakes and rare earthquakes,and the model adopts different structural arrangement.The results demonstrate:the steel deep beam can resist the lateral displacement of the structure effectively,and the maximum displacement of steel deep beams infilled steel frame is reduced by 53% compared with the maximum displacement of the steel frame;the shear time history curves of steel deep beam and steel column have the same change trend,so steel frame with steel deep beam works well;with the increase of building height,weak story appear in the higher story.Studies have shown that the new structure is used to provide certain reference value in the civil engineering.
