The radioactive organic waste is difficult to avoid by the process of nuclear production,scientific research and other activities.The oil,organic solvents and other organic liquids are widely used in nuclear industry(such as nuclear power plants,it has all kinds of organic matter and it is mixture to reach more than 10 species),they are radioactive contamination then become a radioactive organic waste.Among the radioactive organic wastes,tributyl phosphate(TBP)is an organic solvent which widely used in the reprocessing of spent fuel,and the typical composition is 30% TBP-kerosene.It is difficult to treatment by lacking proper treatment method currently.It is temporary storage and waiting for process.The non-stabilized radioactive organic waste,not only a certain combustion,radioactive leakage and other potential hazards,but also the liquid waste solution will quickly spread once the storage tank ruptured,and then large area will be pollution by leading to soil and water,thus threatening human health and ecological security.If the radioactive organic waste not properly stabilized,it is a potential threat to environmental safety and biosecurity.The USA and European countries have tried to use Nochar's N910,N960 and other products to absorb radioactive organic waste,the radioactive organic waste will into the stable solidified body.This will not only eliminate the risk of it disperse to the environment but also be conducive to the the disposal of radioactive waste subsequently.China's major nuclear power groups have shown a strong interest in this technology,and Nochar company conducted the technical exchange.However,the Nochar company use the kwon-how mode of operation,the United States company only provides a small amount of dosage ratio of several kinds of waste oil,and does not provide the product composition,absorption performance,absorption mechanism and other key design parameters information.Therefore,the lack of design date and then can not be applied to engineering in China.Domestic and foreign literature on the N910 and N960 and other products of the application of research is limited to the study of the amount of absorption.We has not seen the absorption of kinetics,absorption mechanism,product composition and the characteristics in the reports.In the case of the promotion of the use of radioactive organic waste absorbents cannot be allowed by China's nuclear industry in the absence of sufficient theoretical and data support.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the theoretical study on the absorption kinetics,thermodynamics process,absorption mechanism and product characteristics of the radioactive organic waste,and provide scientific support,reference data and design basis for the treatment of radioactive organic waste.For the safety evaluation of absorption technology to provide technical support,to lay a certain foundation of domestic absorbent materials by the future,to laid the technical foundation of safe disposal for China's radioactive organic waste treatment,and to create conditions for the safe operation and the final decommissioning of nuclear facilities.According to the existing experimental conditions and the types of radioactive organic waste in the nuclear industry,the experimental study was carried out by simulating radioactive organic waste.Through the domestic and foreign literature research,this paper studied the source,quantity,type and other standards of radioactive organic and studied the maximum absorption,absorption kinetics,thermodynamics,mechanism of organic liquid and water by Nochar's N910 and N960.And the clustering analysis was used in the research process.Through the research,this paper has the following conclusions:1,N910 and N960 in the absorption of oil,TBP,alcohol and ester organic liquid,can be achieved saturation absorption within 35 min,the faster absorption;2,Where the amount of N910 alcohol and ester can be sorted as: isoamyl alcohol> n-butanol> ethyl acetate> ethanol;N960 absorbs the amount of alcohol and ester in this order: isoamyl alcohol>ethanol>n-butanol>ethyl acetate;Clustering analysis results support similar compatibility principle;3,The temperature on the N910 and N960 absorption of kerosene absorption have a certain impact,especially for the N910 absorption of kerosene has the greater impact;both the saturation absorption with the temperature rise in the opposite absorption trend,N910 gradually decreases as the temperature increases.The absorption of N960 increased rapidly after 45 ?;45 ? is the critical temperature of N960 absorption performance drastically changed,we proposed that the operating temperature is not higher than 45 ?;4,Nochar N910 contains benzene ring,alkyl and other groups,the information of infrared absorption spectrum is that N910 has a styrene and olefin block copolymer;Nochar N960 contains amino,alkyl and other groups,the information of infrared absorption spectrum indicating that N960 is an amide polymer;5,N910 and N960 absorption of organic liquid is mainly physical effects;N910 porous mesh structure shows that it is a mesoporous material,this structure helps to absorb and contain more organic liquid.But between water and N960 is the hydration,and destroyed the original structure of after absorption of water;also reflects the absorption of water,N960 and the original structure of water had been changed;6,The two absorbers are the most suitable absorption temperature in the vicinity of room temperature,which can operate at room temperature and conducive to cost savings.In terms of waste minimization,N910 is more suitable for organic liquid absorption than N960.The absorption mechanism of the radioactive organic waste solution and the mechanism of action were studied,which can provide scientific absorption data for the application of the absorbent.The mechanism of the absorption of the absorbent and the different organic liquids was studied.It can provide the data support and design input for radioactivity Organic waste treatment process design.The results show that the Nochar absorber has a wide range of absorption of organic liquid,high absorption rate and large absorption.This technology can convert organic liquid into stable solid state,which can greatly reduce the risk of nuclide migration and diffusion.At the same time,the use of absorbent stabilization of organic waste is simple and easy,do not need special equipment,but reduce the waste treatment costs.The formation of solid organic wastes can be installed after bagging,and then land to shallow way to deal with.Waste disposal process is simple.So this is a promising application of radioactive organic waste treatment technology.
