| Chinese traditional furniture is produced by the traditional culture, is the embodiment of the essence of traditional culture, and is the treasure of the Chinese nation. The seats, as an important part of traditional furniture, is rare in the world that it came across the dwarf sat on the floor of the seat mode representative of the Japan and the pedal high sitting high sitting mode representative of the West. And with the development of international globalization, more and more Chinese traditional seats provide inspiration and inspiration for Western designers, which have created a number of outstanding modern chairs. From the beginning of the last century in 90s, how to transform the traditional furniture into modern furniture design has become the focus of scholars. This article is on the basis of a number of senior scholars to conduct a more in-depth and systematic study of the modernization of Chinese seat design system.First of all, this paper reviews the traditional and modern design theory, and analyzes the evolution of modern furniture design principles. By demonstrating the relationship between innovation and cultural heritage, this paper demonstrates the innovation of traditional furniture in the furniture design. And through the research method of integration of TRIZ theory, under the modern design theory of reconfigurable system, studying comparatively on the furniture research literature from 2005 to 2015, researching on statistical data by mathematical statistics, finally proposed the furniture design 3P theory. And under the guidance of this theory and the reconstruction theory, building a new modern seat design module.Secondly, this paper discusses the relationship of the design of seats in the 3P theory of"potential","principle",and "pattern". And using four chapters from the third to the sixth, from the seat design constraints, sources, skills, presented in four aspects to discuss 3P theory. The third chapter discusses the influence of the "potential" in the design of the seat design with the examples of the development of the chair, such as the ritual system, the Song learning and the minimalism, and also discusses the representation methods of modern cultural reconstruction. The fourth chapter discusses the relationship between the needs of the users and the design of the seats by studying the influence of the Song people’s needs on the seats in the Song Dynasty, and puts forward the demand transformation model of the life form. In the fifth chapter, the author analyzes the influence of cross-border knowledge on the design of seats by studying the changes between Literati and Artisans in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, and puts forward the knowledge system of the design of the seat design on the basis of designing the knowledge flow model. Based on the combination of design ideas, the sixth chapter systematically discusses the generation of frame chair, comparing the traditional and modern composition of the characteristics of the seat, and the Chinese Dragon chair as an example to analyze the combination of "pattern".In the end, this paper studies the design system of the modern sitting equipment by contrasting the traditional chair, analyzes and arranges the research model by the statistical method, and divides the research model into modules one by one. The theory of modern chair design is expounded with the Chinese chair as an example, and a modern user -centered design system is developed with Visual C + + as software program. The system has changed the designer-oriented design mode, more emphasis on the user’s choice to design modern sitting. In this system, designers play the role of technical assistance, to provide technical support for the user’s choice. |
