As a kind of cultural and economic phenomena, the Shanzhai has attractedgreat attention at home and abroad atfer2008‘Most of internationalmainstream media name China as copycat country and condemn China’ s cheapcopy behaviors both in speech and writing. In China, a mixed response is givento copycat phenomena on related reports and papers. The copycat phenomena isabsolutely not water without a source; as a kind of important phenomena in artsand design circle,we are in urgent need of making clear the relation betweencopycat and mass culture, arts and design, so as to find out source of copycatphenomena, relation between Shanzhai culture and arts, and positivesignificance of Shanzhai culture etc.With continuous development of virtual reality technology, the immersiveexperience has become an important object of focus. The immersive experienceneeds an interdisciplinary and inter-media study; therefore, it is required tothink about this question in terms of cognitive psychology, semiotics,sociology and art theory etc. The immersive experience is not only widelyapplied in realm of art, but also applied in culture industry and urbanconstruction. One important phenomenon which we shall pay attention to iscopycat immersive experience, which is a kind of presentation of Shanzhaiculture and copycat economy with large quantity of technology and knowledgeabout immersive experience applied. As an important phenomenon, it isrequired to make clear the main features, copycat representation and therelation between it and image sociology etc. via case study.It can be gradually known from study on copycat immersive experiencevia ifeld research, literature classification and artistic creation etc. that thecopycat immersive experience is not copying but strong social demand which isestablished on output of cultural imperialism under the background ofglobalization and established on the shaping of landscape capitalist society onh,umans social identity. The research on this phenomenon is of positivesignificance for development of inter-media art and urban culture. I will make aseries solo exhibitions named "Copycat Immersive Experiment Lab" in next5years.
