A Lexical Study On Dunhuang Liwen

The Dunhuang Liwen is the literature of Dunhuang social economical literaturesto take down the financial affairs.It has the characters of contemporaneous、colloquial,and so on. Therefore, it is the valuable corpus in the study of Chinesehistory, especially the study of ancient Chinese vocabulary. The paper takes this asobject of the study. And it selects about five hundred Dunhuang Liwen literaturesfrom50thousand literatures publicated, to analysis and definite explanation.We usesmany reseach methods,for example,the combine of macro and microscopes,diachronic and synchronic comparative study,and inductive and deductivemethods.The paper concludes five parts:First part, it is the preface. Firstly, the paper interprets the definition ofDunhuang Liwen. then, it talks about the current situation and the significance of theresearch, at last,it proposes the methods and diffical points of the research.Part two,the paper analyzes the vocabulary characters and its constitutions of theDunhuang Liwen,and it believes that the affluences of colloquial words and nounsused to express objects are the two prominent characters.Then,it also believes that theinherited old words from the Qin、Han、Wei、Jin Dynasties and the occured newwords of Dunhuang Liwen literatures are the two main composed features.Part three, the paper analyzes the occurred new words of Dunhuang Liwenliteratures,and it proposes the standard how to determine a new words.Then the paperdivides into four parts to analysis the way of the new words produces.Part four,the paper verifies and explains some complicated words.It not onlyconcludes some wrong emendations,but also some unexplained words.And the paperanalyzes the reason of the mistakes.Part five,it is the conclusion of the whole paper.Through the research of thepaper,it makes some contributions to the research of ancient Chinese vocabulary andthe development of dictionary compilation.At the same time,the paper also thinks ithas some shortcomings and deficiencies,and it proposes the work towards in thefuture. The paper’s reseach results are as follows:the literatures of DunHuang LiWenconsists of colloquial words and noun words abundantly.And some of them are notexisted in the ancient literatures.They are the valuable corpuses of the Chinese lexicalreseach.At the same time,we correct some wrong explanations before and interpretesome un-explained words.These are conductive to the history of Chinese vocabularyand the dictionary compilations.The probable creative achievements of the paper are that we firstly use the nounof LiWen to referent the literatures of related financial aspects,and make our best tocollect them exhaustively.Then,we emphatically analysis the new words andmeanings.Furthermore, we correct some wrong explained words and interprete someun-explained words. These will be beneficial to the history of Chinese vocabulary andthe dictionary compilations.
