With increasing depth of coal mining, the number of rockburst occurrence andendanger degrees rise rapidly, since the existing support system is not effective forpreventing rockburst during tunnel excavation or serving time, mainly because thesupporting material can’t meet the the deformation as well as the energy absorptioncaused by impact loading to the surrounding rocks, while maintaining a constantsupport resistance. In this paper, we introduce a high constant resistance(350KN) largedeformation anchor cable with its mechanical properties and in-site simulation ofrockburst prevention impact test as the main research content, through a series of statictensile and dynamic impact laboratory tests to verify the new anchor cable with largedeformation resistance under the action of impact while keeping slip deformation. Themechanism of this anchor cable’s interaction with surrounding rock in tunnels hascarried on in detailed study. First put the anchor cable material into use as supportingmaterial and put forward the field impact resistance test of simulation rockburst by blasting which performed at No.1213tunnel in Hongyang mine with the comparation ofour anchor cable and traditional ones. At the same time, by performing real-timemonitoring of anchor cable stress and comparing the test results with laboratory testsshows the mechanism properties of this kind of cable, that is the ability of absorbingenergy while maintaining constant resistance, and it have better performance thantraditional cables with good impingement effect.
