| Under the background of China’s rapid development of urbanization,different regional economic develop models have been formed based onregional integration, the characteristics of different geographicaladvantages, industrial location in the metropolitan area and urbanagglomeration. Those patterns perfect the relevant regional economictheory system, and they also promote the economic development ofdifferent regions. In the numerous development models of regionaleconomic，Cities’ Synchronization get more attention from government.Cities’ Synchronization is an economical developing model, and itevolves from frequent contacts and close economic cooperation of citieswhich are geographically closed, structurally complementary in industryand shared similar culture. From geographical sense, Cities’Synchronization is smaller than the traditional metropolitan and urbanagglomerations, and it is the economic developing model of adjacentcities. It is the development results of regional economic development in the process of increasing economic dependence and the systeminnovation. Changchun and Jilin are two large cities located in centralJilin province. Changchun develops high-tech industries, while Jilin isdominated by heavy chemical industry. The cities possess superiorlocation advantages and industrial advantages in complementarydevelopment. The higher reliability of these two cities, the faster theCities’ Synchronization develops. Changchun and Jilin belong to theTumen river regional developing district, at the same time, they are thesupportive cities for Tumen developing policy approved by state council.The Cities’ Synchronization between Changchun and Jilin not onlyremarkably promotes the competitive power, but also has significantmeaning for regional cooperation development and ChangJiTuopening-up pilot area construction. Therefore, under the illustratedbackground, to have a systematic research on construction of Citis’Synchronization development indicators, evaluation system has importanttheoretical significance and practical significance taking Changji city asexample for Cities’ Synchronization analysis. This paper combines both theoretical and empirical research aspectsof Cities’ Synchronization as the main line. The core content of thisresearch takes in four steps. First of all, based on the related theory, theauthor of this paper stems from the economic aspects such asgeographical conditions, market mechanism and system innovationsystem respectively. This paper studies the mechanism of the formationand development of city integrated with the practical experience ofdomestic city, and a detailed analysis of the theory is made. Secondly, theauthor of this paper studies economic development effect of Cities’Synchronization from the characteristics of regional economy and thedevelopment of urban economy, and discusses the city agglomerationeffect and diffusion effect, innovation effect and brand effect from theperspective of theoretical and empirical system respectively. Thirdly, acities’ synchronization development indicators evaluation system hasbeen constructed on the connotation of city development research. Thispaper studies from the economic development of contact strength,industry integration, market integration and infrastructure integration and four aspects to choose the relevant economic indicators. An empiricalanalysis based on ChangJi development has been carried on. Finally,closely related with the development of regional economy connotation,this paper studies the econometric analysis of double variables in therelationship between the economic developments from two aspects: percapita GDP and production elements of the city. And based on traditionalproduction function, a regional production function model of variable isbuilt including Cities’ Synchronization development variables, takingChangJi time-series data samples as empirical analyzing data.This thesis comprises eight parts, and the main content of each partis:The first chapter is introduction. The background, researchsignificance, domestic and foreign related research situation, researchdesign, and the innovation of the paper and deficiencies aresystematically introduced.The second chapter studies related theoretical foundation for Cities’Synchronization. It mainly defined definition and concept of discrimination, and concretely introduces the core-edge theory, spatialinteraction theory, regional division of labor theory, growth pole theoryand transaction cost theory which are theories relying on the theoreticalbasis.The third chapter is the analysis of formation and developmentmechanism. It respectively analyzed development and implementationpath from economic geography condition, market promotion mechanismand system innovation system.The fourth chapter is city effect analysis and empirical test. Thischapter studies city agglomeration effect and diffusion effect, innovationeffect and brand effect, and it takes the domestic present situation ofchemical practice city as samples in having empirically analysis.Chapter5is the construction of Cities’ Synchronization developmentevaluation index system and empirical analysis. This chapter introducesthe connotation of Cities’ Synchronization development in detail, and anevaluation index system based on four perspectives: contact strength,industry integration, market integration and infrastructure integration is constructed, and data from Changji city development as samples isempirically analyzedChapter6is the inspection and the empirical analysis of relationshipbetween Cities’ Synchronization and regional economic development.Starting from the connotation of the regional economic development, thischapter respectively using bivariate econometric model and productionfunction integrated modeling methodology. Furthermore, the relationshipbetween Cities’ Synchronization and the region economy developmenthas been carried on in empirical test analysis.Chapter7is the countermeasures and Suggestions for promoting thedevelopment of ChangJi city. This chapter is policy researching chapter.Based on research results concluded from dilute the administrativebarriers, the transformation government function, infrastructureconstruction, information sharing and industry linkage development, itdiscusses the advance of Changji city development from system design and policy measures to promote innovation.Finally conclusions and summary of this paper is illustrated. |
