Since the cooperation between universities and schools has become the main "Strategic Decisions" and "Action Logic" of the development of educational organizations, the study provides an insight into the "U-S cooperation", and makes a theoretical and experimental research on the connotations, mechanisms, evaluations and contributing factors of the "’performance of school-based education research". The study also proposed suggestions to improve the "U-S cooperation" on the basis of the former analysis.Firstly, the study adopts the means of theoretical analysis, and reveals the features and mechanisms of the performance of school-based education research under the U-S cooperation framework, attempts to prove the performance of school-based education research is the essence of the U-S cooperation effects. It puts forward the performance is the organizational performance, not a individual one. It measures the organizational capabilities to improve the educational levels, rather than the carriers of research findings. It depends on the continual state of the research of the organizations, but not the occasional cases. The most important weigh subject of the evaluation should be its teaching staff not the third independent party.Secondly, the study creates a 4-dimensional and 16-indexed performance of school-based education research structural model by a theoretical and experimental method. Fuzzy Integrated Evaluation is taken to carry on the experimental research on the performance of school-based education research. It turns out that the performance of the U-S cooperation group is significantly higher than that of the non-one’s. In the U-S cooperation group, the performance is negatively distributed. The numbers of primary schools is higher than that of the middle schools in terms of high performance. There is no distinctive difference between the four dimensions, whereas the dimension of Adaptive Performance gets the highest score, and dimension of Task Performance gets the lowest one.On the basis of former research and investigation experiences, the study carries on a experimental research on the performance of school-based education research. It validates that the contributing factors of the dimension of schools are: the priority of the organizations lays on, the teachers’ concepts, the capability basis;the contributing factors of the dimension of universities are:academic ability, transforming ability, working styles; the contributing factors of the dimension of ways of cooperation are:the clarity of cooperation, the closeness, and the administrative push.In the end, the study propose some strategic suggestions in respects of universities, schools and mechanism of cooperation:the strategy of endogenesis, which improves the knowledge manegment efficiency and boosts the professional development of the organizations; the strategy of transformation, which achieves the two-way constructions of theory and practice; the strategy of amalgamation, in which mechanism supports the cooperation, and facilitates the culture endogenesis.
