China School Sport Role Inspection And Definition

During the one hundred years histories and development, our country has paid high expectations and did great efforts on school sports. However, it still has theory and practical problems which cannot be ignored. For example, what is school sports? What should it do? How should it do? All these problems have not been explained clearly. So, what should our school sports works based on? According to that, this study tried to dig the insufficiency and flaw in the problem solving aspect. Basing on social role theory, we regard school sports as a social existence and have its own social relationship and roles. Then we make a new role Inspection and definition for it by the main methods of interview and brainstorming. This study has four parts:The first part:comment on China school sports. Comb China school sports historical roles and make a comment. We include that China school sports roles has characters of objectivity, nationality, class nature and adherence.The second part:the causes of China school sports role problems.From the theory of standard of China school sports and corresponding to its value choice, to find out the role dislocation; from the mainstream of the China school sports thoughts and corresponding to its function, to find out the role complexity; from China school sports present situation and comparing with its effect, to find out the role distance. And then to look for the causes that cause role dislocation, role complexity, role distance from the following three stages:role expectation, role cognition and role practice.The third part:the theory of China school sports role definition. Based on the different positions of school sports in society, education and sports, explicit the relationships that must be deal with during role definition. Based on the contemporary social development, education reform process and the sports power construction to explore China school sports specific role expectation and the era mission. The fourth part:China school sports role definition. The role of China school sports is to develop national physical quality. According to the period of school sports, grading the national physical quality, and orient the grade roles of school sports. On the basis of construction of school physical education, structure the national physical quality, and orient the structural roles of school sports.
