| Whether senior high school political teachers can define their roles effectively, it is teachers’ effective definition of their roles that is an important precondition in the practice of middle school politics teaching. Carl·Rogers made a detailed explanation of the roles, functions, cultivating and training of teachers in his "student-centered" concept of teachers’ roles, as well as relationship between teachers and students. It is worth mentioning that there are many similarities between Roger’s view of teacher’s role and the New Curriculum Standards. This paper studied the defining of teachers’ roles in high school politics curriculum through Roger’s view of teacher’s role, to help teachers understand their roles completely, positioning their functions timely and accurately, complete the Moral Education Curriculum of middle school effectively. This paper is divided into four parts:The first part made a brief statement about Roger’s view of teachers. The author analyzed the specific requirements of the following four aspects:roles, functions, cultivating and training of teachers, as well as relationship between teachers and students. Teachers’ role requires them to accept students sincerely, unconditionally, and understand students’ empathy; Teachers play roles of establishing learning goals providing learning resources for students, organizing students groups in the teaching procedure; Teachers should capture the experience, trends and conditions of cultivating and training; Understand the states of the relationship between teachers and students in Rogers humanism relationship, clearly understand the developing goals and constructing policy on relationship between teachers and students.The second part analyzed questions on teachers’ role definition of high school politics curriculum teachers combined with Rogers’ view of teachers. The author found that teachers have problems on three aspects about the role cognition, attitudes, teacher-student relationship, provide evidences for the third part to analyze the reasons.The third part analyzed the reasons of the questions on high school politics curriculum teachers’ role definition from Rogers’ perspective of teachers. Including three aspects, they are social environment, students’ Moral, teachers’ personal factors. In order to help teachers achieve role definition, the author concerned about teachers and students who are the teaching participants.The fourth part provided suggestions about high school politics curriculum teachers’ role definition with Rogers’ perspective of teachers. Including the following aspects: learning educational theory, understanding the requirement of high school politics teachers’ role; establishing a "student-centered" concept, creating a free and equal relationship between teachers and students; establishing a perfect management system, building environment of teachers’ role, conducting practical activities, promote adjustment of Teachers’ Role. |
