Although China has maintained rapid growth for decades in economic power and comprehensive national strength, it is the containment of international discourse that result in failing to obtain the international status and influence, which lead to the endless emergence of negative evaluation of the national image and constraints of cooperation between China and other foreign countries.This essay will illustrate the significance of discussion for the theoretical connotation of the international discourse power and breaking the external obstacles that affects China’s peaceful development, according to the difficulty faced, by studying the international discourse power, utilizing discourse text, historical literature and other research objects. It also reviews the historical lessons learned by the Communist Party who tried to seek the international discourse power, which has proved the value of international discourse right. Meanwhile, it will explore the expression of international discourse closely linked to political, economic, cultural, ecological and military fields of today’s China,so as to point out that expansion and translation has played two key missions we need to finish within international discourse power and deeply analyze the existing problems and reasons behind, with the help of several elements of power pattern and dynamic conditions which included in discourse. Finally, with President Xi’s new diplomatic strategic blueprint, a series of key principles and mechanism that should be broken through, as well as the corresponding countermeasures have been proposed.
