Research On War Experience And Chinese Poetry During Imjin War Period

The Imjin war which happened more than 400 years ago lasted seven years. Three countries were involved in the war and the result of the war were as follows:Japan failed, Korea was almost in a state of crowning calamity and Min Dynasty was badly hurt. The Imjin war deeply changed the political situation in East Asia. With more and more scholars focusing on the special history, few scholars pay attention to the academic achievements of this time. This paper tries to discuss the war experience, as well as the thoughts and emotions in Chinese poetry written by Koreans, because they are influenced a lot by Chinese culture.In the introduction, the research purpose and significance, the research situation, the research scope and methods etc are mainly introduced. As for research status, the review and summary of Chinese poetry from home and abroad are mainly discussed from the aspects of research content, the research methods and the forms of research results. As for the conclusion, the literary review of Chinese poetry during the Imjin war is involved, including the shortcomings and a series of ideas and so on.In the body, the following aspects are included:1. To experience the background and general situation for creation of Chinese poetry during that time. First, the effect of political order caused by the war in East Asia is discussed from the political perspective. Second, besides the Chinese poetry,how the other literary forms describe the war from literary perspectives.2.To discuss the common experience among the people from the macro. According to the importance of the contents, the poetry is mainly divided into four dimensions. First is the grief caused by the intuitive experience. Second is the critical emotion against the ruling class and poor response to the war. Third is the unyielding attitude and rebellious consciousness toward the invaders. Finally is the thanksgiving consciousness to the Chinese help. These four dimensions have the common experience among different authors, although they aimed at differenttargets and have different attitudes and awareness.3. To show the different war experience from six poets, who have different identity and situation. Among them, Yin Doushou、Zheng Wenfu and Quan Bi express their unique inner war experience from the local context, but Zheng Xide、Jiang Hang and Lu Renze express their war experience from exotic context. On the basis of the detailed analysis of the poems, we summarizes the unique aesthetic experience of different poets according to the ideological content and value orientation.4. To discuss the artistic creation of Chinese poetry from the form of expression skills、typical intention and work style etc. During the period, realistic creative techniques, literary quotation and metaphor, as well as other skills of expression are commonly used, showing the deep knowledge of sinology among Korean literatus. In this chapter, the Imagery of the moon, birds, white hair and battlefield in the poems are also discussed. After the analysis of the poems during the time, we summarizes the poetry of this period has the unique style of "sadness" and "boldness". Meanwhile, the artistic creation of the poetry is also discussed in the conclusion.
