| With the enrichment of the new archaeological materials, the study of ancientliterary, which regards text as its carrier, is relatively limited by insufficientdocumentation. It is a worthwhile consideration how to choose appropriatearchaeological materials to provide effective information for the study of ancientliterature and promote it.Although the research on text-carrier “Poem singing with Towel danceâ€composed by Folk-song-styled Poems of Han Dynasty has made remarkableachievements, there is also a big controversy. We sorted out the data of towel dance,long-sleeved dance and other Han Dynasty Music-and-Dance Drama fromarchaeological data, especially the Han Dynasty brick, to examine the morphologicalevolution and characteristics. We finally found that these materials can provideevidence for the research on nature of Han Dynasty ballads “Poem singing with Toweldanceâ€.This paper is divided into eight parts:The preface elaborates from the following five aspects: the main basis of the topic;overview of the research; purpose and the significance of the research; researchmethods, ideas and the basic idea and innovation of the research, etc. The overview ofthe research launches from the following three aspects: Firstly, according to thearchaeological discovery, literature material such as bamboo character, stoneinscriptions and portrait image are extremely generous since Qin-Han Dynasties.Secondly, the archaeological discovery above has sparked further attention andresearch on literary study since Qin-Han to South-North Dynasties. Thirdly,discussion on analysis and evaluation; further exploration; development andbreakthrough in specific circumstances relate to the research above. The third part,which is an overview related to this research, elaborates from the following threeaspects: archaeological discovery of the Han Dynasty brick; the disappointingsituation of “research on brick and literature study of Han Dynasty†and the important literature value and significance of regarding Han Dynasty brick as literature material.Meanwhile, this paper expounds the background and premise of this research.The first chapter is a research overview on new archaeological materials andliterature of Qin-Han Dynasties. This part teases out three sections with relatedinformation from1963to2013, totally50years: research on new unearthed bamboocharacter, stone inscriptions and literature of Qin-Han Dynasties; Han Dynasty brickand literature of Qin-Han Dynasties (This part is mostly related to this research, so itelaborates from nine aspects in details); research conclusion about the new unearthedmaterial and literature of Qin-Han Dynasties.The second chapter to sixth chapter is the basic theory of the new archaeologicalmaterials and “Poem singing with Towel dance†composed by Folk-song-styledPoems of Han Dynasty. This part tries to integrate new archaeological materials “HanDynasty brick†and information related to “Poem singing with Towel danceâ€, toanalyze the confusion and misalignment of the carrier “Poem singing with Toweldanceâ€, and then draws a theoretical inference.The second chapter is the summary of the theory, raising questions and clarifyingthe evaluation on the basis of reviewing the text carrier of Han Dynasty Ballads“Poem Singing with Towel Dance†and paving the way for the following chapters.The third chapter is one of the fourth points on this theory. It outlines the existingform and its evolutional characteristics of the Music-and-Dance Drama by theanalysis of the existing situations of new archaeological materials of the images ofHan Dynasty brick which reflect the manor life and Music-and-Dance Drama.The fourth chapter is the second theory of the body. Through the statisticalanalysis of the12towel dances and73long-sleeved dances on the new archaeologicalmaterials of the images of Han Dynasty brick, we can infer from the existing situationof the Han Dynasty towel dance and long-sleeved dance and then come to agroundbreaking conclusion. Through the analysis of more than a dozen of towel dance,long-sleeved dance and the dance theater (stage) painted on the Han Dynasty brick,the writer deduces that the Music-and-Dance Drama of the towel dance and long-sleeved dance had the evolutional trend towards the Music-and-Dance Drama,especially the immergence of stage platform prepared for the production of song anddance drama.The fifth chapter is the third theory of the body. From the first two chapters, wecan conclude about the evolutional pattern of the towel dance, the long-sleeved danceand the basis to generate song and dance drama. And focusing on the research of theHan Dynasty Ballads “Poem Singing with Towel Danceâ€, the writer then reaches theconclusion that the existing of Han Dynasty towel dance does not support thejudgment of “Poem Singing with Towel Dance†in the same way as “the Western Hansong and dance dramaâ€.The epilogue is the conclusion of this study. To the late Eastern Han Dynasty, theearly form of “song and dance drama†had appeared, but there was still a certaindistance from the dramatic sense of “song and dance play†or the “song and dancedramaâ€. Nowadays, it seems that “Poem Singing with Towel Dance†is the songwhich was used to be sung to the accompaniment of the “towel danceâ€. The content ofthe poem is not related to “Hong-men storyâ€, but a woman’s thoughts and call for herhusband who had been abroad. However, we can see that today’s “Poem Singing withTowel Dance†may be mixed with the “original words†in “Gong-mo danceâ€. Fromthe view of “Gong-moâ€, the “original words†in “Gong-mo dance†may be associatedwith “Hong-men storyâ€. |
