The second dissemination of Tibetan Buddhism is a great issue in the history of the Tibetan Buddhist history. In this theses I mainly talk about the Smad ’adul (the second dissemination of Tibetan Buddhist from amdo); It includes six aspects or six chapters. In the first chapter, I analyze some concerned words; bstan ba sgna dar(the first dissemination of Buddhism) bstan ba phyi dar(the second dissemination of Buddhism) mdo smad(amdo)’dul ba(the discipline of Tibetan Buddhism) in traditionally Tibetan people believe the Buddhism took root during the27th Tibetan king la thothori knyan bzan, germinated in the time of srong bzan skam bo,and blossom and bear fruit in the period of khri srong lde bzan and khri ral ba can,in this chapter I questioned about the time of the Buddhist disseminate in to Tibet firstly, I used materials in the Bon religion and the time that Buddhism firstly spread in to the neighbor countries of Tibet, to submitted my view-point.In the second chapter, I mainly introduce five monasteries during the time; the Lo rdo rje brak, A chung knam rdgogn,Dan dik, dmar kzang brak, mkhas ba mi ksum kyi lha khang, In this part I wrote the history and the present condition of the these monasteries, information from the villages near the monasteries. In the third chapter, famous persons concerned the second Tibetan Buddhist dissemination are introduced, they are the mkhas ba mi ksum(three intelligent men) bla chen dkongs ba rab ksal, lha lhung dbal rdor, the ten or twelve people from the lhasa,in this chapter firstly I talk about mkhas ba mi ksum, in the Tibetan history books, generally we can’t find any information except their names, I penetrate their names to research their homes and when they came to Amdo. Secondly I again comment the important religious figure-bla chen dkong ba rab ksl, this person is very famous both Buddhism and Bon, so I narrate him according to materials in the Buddhism and Bon, and I confine some confused points about the person in the histery. At last I introduce lha lung dbal rdor and his contribution for the Tibetan budhhism. In the fourth chapter I talk about when mkhas ba mi ksum flee from Lhasa to Amdo, what kind of route they go through, and why they pass the route like that. In the history books, we only can find some name they went through, so this chapter firstly find out the time they went to Amdo, then draw a map of route most likely they go through, and at the end, according to local situation the places they passing that time I give many reasons why they go through such route and make clear some places mentioned in the book.In the fifth I mainly talk about when the ten persons came to Amdo and whom they took the Buddhist discipline, and when they went back to Lhasa and start to spread the Buddhism, how they passed down Buddhist discipline, after account these things, I also draw a table to make clear their course of discipline. In the last chapter, I talk about the reasons why the second dissemination of Tibetan Buddhism can restart from Amdo. Traditionally people believe that because the long distance from Lhasa Tibetan the Buddhism can disseminate in Amdo, but in my paper I consider that the distance is not only the reason, there also are some other reasons like the peace environment, conditions that many religions are coexisting there, the better economic conditions from Lhasa, and most importantly the Tibetan Buddhism meets the peoples’spiritual requirement when they look forward.
