Wang Xitian, as one of the most outstanding figures in the history of ModernChina, had experienced two periods of China’s Democratic Revolution, the OldDemocratic Revolution and the Democratic Revolution. It can be said that with adistinctive of anti-imperialist impression, the shinning flame of the NationalDemocratic Revolution in his words and deeds through his young and short lifestarted from the acceptance of the impact of the Old Democratic Revolution, and wasaccomplished by longing to the Proletarian Socialist Revolution represented by theSoviet Union. This thesis aims to combine the historical character and legendary lifeof Wang Xitian, to historically assess his thoughts and methods, especially histhinking topology, with in-depth research and study. Searching a breakthrough in thestudy of his thoughts by changing the already-established history-telling methods,combining the discussion and verification methods together, thus to achieve masterythrough a comprehensive study of the character thought and behavior.Wang Xitian’s life and ideology of the development process, also known as thespiritual path, had experienced three levels. Correspondingly, the social practice hasexperienced three kinds of exploration and selection. First, learn to serve the countrystage, as industrial salvation selection. Second, political revolution stage, as politicalsalvation selection. Third, religious salvation stage, as rational salvation selection.Giving analysis of his thinking and behavior characteristics, this independent spiritualsystem was a multi-dimensional construction. The core essence supporting this system,as well as the main personality spirit going through his life experience and conduct, isthe inherent patriotism rooting from the deep bottom of his heart. In specific, WangXitian’s perseverance of learning to serve the country, loneliness of independentdestiny, salvation of revolution, along with the solemn religious salvation, constitute arich and colorful spiritual world as a patriotic pioneer, which enabled his obtainingawakening of life and sublimation through life-long experiences. In particular, WangXitian’s love and mind for the working class people exceeded the boundaries betweenlife and death, honor and shame, only genuine and sincere sacrifice and dedicationfrom him to those Japanese Chinese people instead. From the personal standard sense,this noble character is a reflection of his vitality and life fulfillment which is notobtainable for ordinary people. It can be said that Wang Xitian’s initiation, formationand transition of the ideological system, were not only the ultimate expression of hisself-value of life, but rather the results with the accumulation in the long-term social practice and exploration.In fact, Wang Xitian’s main ideas and social practice could be traced back asearly as the May Fourth New Culture Movement, such as "No.1Middle SchoolBreakout News","Study in Japan","Rejection of Sino-Japan Military Agreement", etc.Varying degrees of historical limitations exist when evaluating Wang Xitian as thePatriotic Pioneer at May Fourth Movement Period, either from historical facts orcharacteristics of the times, or from the ideological character of his life-longachievements. The conclusion is not clear and precise, thus further study andconfirmation need to be addressed. Based on the current historical materials, includingtext, objective and pictures, using the viewpoint and method of historical materialism,such conclusion might be drawn that: Wang Xitian was a Patriotic Pioneer emergingduring the period of Democratic Revolution in Modern China; an outstandingadvocator rejecting the Sino-Japan Military Agreement; distinguished representativeof Chinese student in Japan; famous leader highly supported and recognized by thoseChinese people who worked in Japan.
