This paper is a study on travel Ci in Tang dynasty and Song dynasty.it is a literature and culture study which to uncover the influence which travel to Ci’s creation, to analysis authers" mentality,to grasp Ci’s theme thought and art law. This paper is a comprehensive study on Tang Song Ci from the angle of travel in the first.Travel Ci is one kind of traveled literature which take the travel as performance object to realition traveld life. I have attempted to describe the travel Ci from river and lake travel,relegation travel,subjugation travel,army travel etc.Travel Ci in Tang dynasty and Song dynasty has the unique artistic value.First,travel Ci’s style is spacious and broadminded. The poets came to rivers,lakes,villages,desert and remote borders from banquets which full of beauty and singing in capital.In that environment,people think that the soft merle Ci is classical poem. This change which from weak to vigorous should attributed to travel Ci’s creation.Secondly,travel Ci had also performend the erotica,but the erotica is eleganed and desalinated.So travel Ci’s style became neutralized. The third,the literature technique of metaphor,symbol and depositum in travel Ci,improved Ci’s character.The fouth,the writing methods of geography and history make the travel Ci with a sad style. When poets passed by some place which having famous persons and stories in history.So the famous persons and stories were written in their Ci.and his Ci has a tragic style.Travel Ci has important significance in Ci’s history which developing and changing.Because travel expanded Gi’s content,subject matter and living space,promoted Ci’s development.secondly,travel Ci made Ci becoming noble,likes poem’s literary form more and more.Travel Ci has deep cultural connotation.First,we can find out the facts of history such as the author’s whereabouts,the time and background which these Ci were written,traffic condition and traveled customs.Secondly,some travel Ci have their stories.Some stories were not true,however,the false stories are more true when we investigate politics,religion and national psychological in Tang dynasty and Song dynasty.The third,travel Ci’s dissemination is very successful.
