In the whole stage of Soviet and Russian psychology development, due to factorssuch as politics, history, the principles in guidance with development of psychologywere different around the October Revolution.The main characterisitics of discussionabout psychological questions focus on the basis of common philosophy, wholerepresentativeness was such as activity theory, system theory, humanism theory informer Soviet Union. After the collapse of former Soviet Union, these theories stillhave important impact on Russian psychology, and continue to be applicated anddeveloped. On the basis of inheritance of philosophical tradition in differentperiods,especially the self-understanding of Marxist dialectical and historicalmaterialism, different academic schools appeare inward the Soviet psychology, whichunderstanding and interpretation of some basic psychological questionscorrespondingly forms disputes and at the same time also show their concerns andthinking about subjects. Subjective category as the most important of human mentalworld system which is one of the basic organization in the role of modern psychologyis increasingly highlighted. By historical and objective analysis and argument ofsubject category, A.V. Brushlinsky and others made the subjective psychology be themain representatives for subjectivity theory in Russian psychology, and at the sametime made subjective psychology escape the traditional psychology by its uniqueviewpoint of object, methodology and the holistic and systemic theory characteristics.The “view of subjective activity” of psychology which mainly focues on dialecticalmaterialism positively explains the primeval continuity of people’s mentality by thetheory of unity of consciousness andactivities and conception of activities, andhighlights the occurrence and development of subjective mentality by the full use ofMarx’s thought about the interaction between people and the outside world andinteraction between people.Not only the current Russian psychology reveals the trends of further discussion on subjective problems of psychology based on the platform of subjective psychologyand principles of the subjective and evolution system activities, but also some Russianpsychologists are trying to expand the existing research perspectives from differentaspects. Their theoretic considering on the subjective problem of pyschology alsobegin to associate with western psychological study actively. Moreover, theexsistential explanations about subjective experience are emerging in the sight ofpeople.The article aimed to elucidate the practical significance of different genres ofSoviet psychology in different periods through reviewing the researches on subjectiveidea of Soviet psychology. Furthermore, the guiding values and significance ofMarxist philosophy and existentialism philosophy exerting on Soviet psychologyduring different periods were further discussed. In addition, this article also reflectedtheoretically on the subjective idea of psychology and the development of its innerlogic, and looked forward to the future of the development of contemporarypsychological science according to their own rational trajectory.
