In this paper, two different medieval representative paintings,"Christ Transfiguration" and "Bird Catcher", are regarded as the research objects. Through the analysis of their painting languages, it focuses on the language organizational relationships, and relationships between sense of order and spiritual content. The picture and sense of form of "Christ Transfiguration" reflect the requirement from the religious content. The arrangement of the painting "Bird Catcher" advocates the circumstances of daily life. From various form factors, such as line, color, proportion, space and composition methods, to visual activity, for instance the line’s flowing, recessive and dominant features, geometry’s echoed and scattered or aggregated and expanded features. From the surface language relations to the excellent coordination of line, shape and movement, this paper carries out a detailed analysis. It is essential to constantly study such a "basic" problem in specific art analysis and specific art practice, hence to further discuss those more in-depth and specific related issues on the form of the shape language, organization and spirit of emotional expression.Spiritual emotion of the visual arts is presented through the mobilization and organization of the modeling factors to touch people’s heart. Those previous works of art which can still move us today are the best example. Appropriate forms of organization, not only in the organizational form of the overall structure, but also presented in details."Christ Transfiguration" emphasizes the aggregation and expansion of the composition style. It adopts the concise lines and uses blocks to produce a clam and dignified image, and always elongates the figures’height ratios. At the same time, progressively entering from outside to the center layer, spreading from inner part to the outside, it also builds rich multi-directional kinetic potentials. Emphasizing the sense of the sacred, sense of cohesion and sense of power, due to the various parts of the organizations and movements, therefore it presents a rich and unified rhythm patterns and movement, also particularly beneficial in the image it has needed."Bird Catcher" is the work of the late middle ages, reflecting inner and artistic orientation changes of the artist under the background of changing times changes. The main structure presents relatively scattered and variable organizational form. The abundant sense of image and form significance all have been shown from the language and the organization change. The two medieval pictures for us are not only the perception problem of the correspondence relationship between certain kind of painting language and spiritual expression, as all other outstanding art crossing times, but also suggest us to value specific works, and pay attention to the revelation from them. In the meantime, it also indicates us how face the future and artistic innovation, points out the possibility of discovering new factor, new meaning and new understanding in tradition. From "Christ Transfiguration" to "Bird Catcher" and other works, they are in a significant connection with my current creation state and pursuit. Through the two points in the medieval tradition, one has a sense of cohesion and the expression of sacred things in a solemn form; the other one is the realistic outlook organization in favor of the life tendency, touching a more meaningful content and level, so the new understanding can play an active role in the new forms of expression and practice.
