There are many masters both in the field of Chinese minorities’ literatures written by Mandarin and American-Chinese literatures written by English in the period of 1978 to 2010. Although they aroused in the different history background namely Western and Oriental separately, they happen in the same era, have the same base such as their multicultural diversity background and multiple cultural domains. They wrote about the unique indigenous human and beauty, described the profound changes about ethnic identity and humanity in such a transformed era. Meanwhile, it is well-known as the reflection about the universal values and revolution of the literature style.This paper base on the discipline of Comparative and World literature theory, strives to find the difference and similarity between Chinese minorities’ literatures written by Mandarin and American-Chinese literatures written by English through regular phenomenon and works. With the theory of Cultural identity, this paper discusses the solution about how to combine Minority history and culture in the diverse reality, how to face the future etc. To focus on the analysis of the ethnic relationship of Chinese minority and American-Chinese in the multi-ethnic communities, different cultural identity and nationality, self-identities and identity plot, to consider by which kinds of attitude to think about identity, how to grasp the ethnic culture comprehensively. For another, this paper analyze the classics of the Chinese minorities’ literatures written by Mandarin and American-Chinese literatures written by English, to find the multiple possibility of interpreting the text. This paper introduce the relevant researches related to the Chinese minorities’literatures written by Mandarin and American-Chinese literatures written by English, which are divided by four parts, namely research about American-Chinese literature in China, research about Chinese minority writers in China, research of American scholars about contemporary Chinese minority writers, and research about American-Chinese literature in America. Furthermore, This paper introduce the main works and represent writers of the Chinese minorities’ literatures written by Mandarin and American-Chinese literatures written by English briefly, as well as its status in literature history. To compare the contents of the literary works, the background and the controversy about the works, the ethnic background of Chinese minority writers and American-Chinese writers, the spontaneity about ethnic writing.
