| As the most widely used language in the world,English plays an extremely important role in this rapidly advancing information age.Written English is an important way of communication in teaching nowadays,and it is also an important part of it.Mother tongue negative transfer will directly affect students’ learning of foreign languages.This is because before writing the composition,the mother tongue language knowledge system has been established,coupled with the constraints of the language environment,the content and structure of their way of thinking will be more or less influenced by their mother tongue Influence,leading to the emergence of Chinglish.The essays written by students are generally manifested in the use of vocabulary,unsatisfactory words,monotonous sentence patterns,simple sentence stacking and grammatical errors,which hinder students’ English writing level.Therefore,how to improve the English writing of high school students has become the most important task at present.Therefore,this paper proposes two research questions: “What are the main types of English writing errors caused by the mother tongue negative transfer ?” and “What are the main factors affecting the mother tongue negative transfer in high school students’ English writing ?”.Through questionnaire survey method and interview,this paper tries to find out the influence of mother tongue negative transfer on senior high school students’ English writing,At present,the impact of mother tongue negative transfer on English writing of high school students.Based on the analysis of the writing part of 200students’ test papers from six classes,this paper makes a concrete analysis of the mother tongue negative transfer in senior high school English writing,and probes into the final result of the mother tongue negative transfer.The author investigates the factors that lead to the mother tongue negative transfer in English writing by interviewing teaching,students’ learning,language culture and thinking.Meanwhile,the author also investigates the teachers’ understanding of the relationship between mother tongue transfer and students’ writing,and their opinions on improving the phenomenon of negative transfer.Studies have found that negative vocabulary transfer is mainly reflected in students’ compositions,including the articles,cases,singular and plural numbers,and misused words of part of speech that are currently used.The difference between English and Chinese,the lack of different environments between languages,the incomplete understanding of English,and the thin teaching foundation all cause mother tongue negative transfer to students in the process of learning English,which will eventually lead to application errors.In order to improve the quality of English teaching and the practical application level of students,this article proposes a series of plans on how to face up to the mother tongue negative transfer,how to correct the mother tongue negative transfer,consolidate the basic skills of students,and strengthen the flexibility of students’ learning methods.So as to enable students to effectively improve their knowledge of using English. |
