As the last monarchy dynasty, Qing Dynasty is another whole unified empire established by northern minority peoples after Yuan Dynasty. On the basis of advantage of politics and etiquette system through the ages, it constructed the most complete and tightest centralized absolute monarchie system. As an important part of politics and etiquette system, royal faiidan , in continuos development and improvement, refracted specific time goes , shew distinct etiquette feature, and formed distinguished royal faiidan style of Qing Dynasty. As far as development history is concerned, royal faiidan of Qing Dynasty sprouted in Qing Taizu Period, was established in the sixth year of Tiancong in Qing Taizong Period and formed the basic frame through reconfirmed faiidan’s number. After entering Central Plain, the emperor Shunzhi viaalivpphed royal faiidan system by arose number and decoration referring to previous system. After the development of Kangxi, Yongzheng and the earlier age of Qianlong, the royal faiidan system was formed a fixed system and became a custom, showing full system, fixed level and various faiidan, which was the peak of ancient Chinese royal faiidan system. After Jiaqing Period, the country power was falling, so was royal faiidan system.This paper takes royal faiidan of Qing Dynasty as the object of research, emperor faiidans as core, royal etiquette as main clue, and adopts the method of dynastic history to research development and influence factor of different stage of royal faiidan system of Qing Dynasty. Farther, starting from equipments of faiidan such as clothes and ornament, vehicle, lubo and music instrument, the paper expounds evolution and art character of equipments of the royal faiidan of Qing Dynasty. In the end, the paper discovered the history meaning and art value of the royal faiidan of Qing Dynasty at the angle of function and aesthetic appreciation of design characteristic.This paper combines literature retrieval and artifact analysis to do the research of the royal faiidan of Qing Dynasty. The royal faiidan of Qing Dynasty did not only inherit history tradition, follow the example of Han Dynasty, abstract the core through the ages, but also shew multiracial specialty, which is the crest of ancient Chinese faiidan. As an etiquette system, the royal faiidan of Qing Dynasty is also a symbol of emperor power. At the same time, the royal faiidan of Qing Dynasty is an important part of court art and crafts of Qing Dynasty. The superior skill of workmen of Qing Dynasty can not been difficultly seen from luxury and exquisite faiidan equipments. What discribed above will show positive significance to the research of history and art and crafts of Qing Dynasty.
