The Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Delayed Union In Fractures By Chinese Traditional Medicine And Autologous Bone Marrow Transplantation

Delayed fracture healing is a difficult fracture complications,but also for many years and many orthopedic clinicians studies experts and scholars.At present the main method of treatment:surgical incision of bone increase internal and external fixation;mechanical stimulation,extracorporeal shock wave,low-intensity pulsed ultrasound and pulsed electromagnetic field stimulation;local injection of bone repair materials;the application of Chinese medicine.Since October 2002 to October 2008 we have adopted a combination of autologous bone marrow transplantation Bushen secret oral medicine treatment of bone-chip fracture of 25 cases of delayed union and achieved satisfactory results.[Objective]The use of percutaneous autologous bone marrow transplantation combined with kidney medicine bone density and simple percutaneous autologous bone marrow transplantation in the treatment of delayed fracture healing,patients were observed at different times as shown in X-ray bone callus formation in patients with clinical signs and evaluate the two methods in the aspects of the treatment of fractures of the efficacy of delayed healing.[Method]Clinical samples of patients with delayed union of fracture of 50 cases, divided into two groups.A(test group),25 cases of patients,male 14 cases,11 cases of women;age 19～68 years old,the average age of 39.8 years old.For eight cases of open fracture in which the initial treatment of open fracture reduction and fixation with emergent surgical operation,and the remaining 5 cases in injury to 10 days after the exercise of open reduction and internal fixation.There parts of delayed healing of bone:10 cases of delayed union of femoral,tibial delayed union eight cases,five cases of delayed union of the humerus, ulna and radius 2 cases of delayed healing.The use of percutaneous autologous bone marrow transplantation kidney combined with traditional Chinese medicine in treatment of bone density.Group B(control group),25 cases of patients,male 15 and female 10 cases;the age of 20 to 67 years old,the average age of 39.2 years old.Which for the seven cases of open fractures,the initial treatment of open fracture reduction and fixation with emergent surgical operation,and the remaining 5 cases in injury to 10 days after the exercise of open reduction and internal fixation.There parts of delayed healing of bone:10 cases of delayed union of femoral,tibial delayed union of nine cases,five cases of delayed union of the humerus,ulna and radius one cases of delayed healing.The use of a simple treatment of autologous bone marrow transplantation.Month after the two groups were observed in the case at different times as shown in X-ray and bone callus formation in patients with clinical signs,clinical fracture healing to evaluate the two methods in the treatment of fractures of the efficacy of delayed healing.[Result]Group A(experimental group) 25 cases of fracture in patients with end-all of clinical healing,healing time of 5～11 months,the average healing time was 7.0 months. Group B(control group) 23 cases of patients with clinical fractures eventually healed,the healing time of 6 to 13 months,the average healing time was 8.8 months.Another one cases of open fracture of femoral shaft and one cases of open tibial fractures in patients with nonunion,to be replaced with intramedullary nail fixation and bone grafting.[Conclusion]Combined with autologous bone marrow transplantation bone density Bushen medicine can improve the ability of osteoblasts to promote fracture healing,the clinical treatment of bone fractures is a reliable method of delayed healing.
