Clinical Experience Of Professor Zhao Jisheng In Treating Chronic Kidney Disease From Rheumatism

Professor Zhao Jisheng, a famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor of Jiangxi Province, was also the third, fourth and fifth batch of tutor of "the old traditionalChinese medicine experts academic experience inheritance", Professor Zhao Jisheng, who once studied from Lu Zhizheng, a traditional Chinese medicine master, is a famous TCM expert in nephropathy. Professor Zhao Jisheng has long been engaged in the clinic and teaching work of internal diseases and has accumulated rich clinicalexperience in TCM treatment of internal diseases, especially of Chronic Nephropathy. Professor Zhao who proposed the academic viewpoint of" the treatment of kidney water from rheumatism "theory in the 90s of last century has cured numerous chronic renal patients, obtained good clinical efficacy and accumulated thousands of effective clinical cases under this academic guidance.This paper is based on the writer’s accompanying of Professor Zhao’s clinical work, teaching and ward rounds, as well as the collecting and sorting of Professor Zhao’s cases on treatment of Chronic Nephropathy from rheumatism theory, and summarizes Professor Zhao’s clinical experience and his academic thoughts,which aims to excavate deeply the unique experience of Professor Zhao,refine his quintessence of dialectical treatment, sort out regular knowledge to inspire others, inherit TCM and serve the increasing Chronic Nephropathy patients better.Professor Zhao is very knowledgeable,quick-thinking, liberal,who advocates the combination of dialectics and differentiation of disease and the the primacy of treatment based on syndrome differentiation.He emphasizes the dialectical unity of universality and individuality of disease,which needs the good grasping of universality as well as individuality of disease. He also emphasizes to view a problem from perspectives of dynamic development. When diseases change, clinicians need to shift the way of thinking and should never stick to old ways.Professor Zhao is good at treatment of Chronic Nephropathy from rheumatism theory in clinical diagnosis. He thinks that wind and dampness are two evils which are not only the originating cause of Chronic Nephropathy but also important pathological factors which lead to deferment of Chronic Nephropathy and make it hard to cure. The key to cure Chronic Nephropathy is to give a chance to let out the invaded wind and a way to get rid of the cementing dampness. Professor Zhao designedclassical prescriptions by himself. He applied several ways flexibly in treatment, and has obtained satisfactory clinical effects, such as "curing spleen precedes curing wind"," curing blood precedes curing wind", "wind can overcome dampness", "strengthening the body resistance to eliminate wind", etc.The first part of this paper is about the research progress of modern medicine on Chronic Nephropathy, including four aspects:the concept, staging, diagnosis criteria of Chronic Nephropathy, the etiology and pathology of Chronic Nephropathy, the treatment of Chronic Nephropathy and the research progress of Chronic Nephropathy.The second part of this paper is about the research progress of Chronic Nephropathy in TCM, including ancient doctors’ knowledge about the name of Chronic Nephropathy, etiology, pathogenesis and treatment, research progress of modern traditional Chinese medical science of etiology and pathogenesis and syndrome differentiation on Chronic Nephropathy.The third part of this paper is about Professor Zhao’s clinical research on the treatment of Chronic Nephropathy from rheumatism theory, including research purpose, research object, research methods, research results and discussion.The fourth part of this paper is about Professor Zhao’s summary of clinical experience on the treatment of Chronic Nephropathy from rheumatism theory, includingtheoretical basis of Chronic Nephropathy from rheumatism theory, rheumatic syndromes of Chronic Nephropathy, therapy exploration on the treatment of Chronic Nephropathy from rheumatism theory, application of prescription,typical medical cases selection and the conclusion.The fifth part of this paper is the summary of this paper, including research conclusions, characteristic and innovation, problems and shortage as well as outlook.
