Research On Professor Xieqiang’s Experience And Academic Thought In Treating Hoarseness With Acupuncture And Moxibustion

Objective:To summarize Professor Xieqiang’s experience and academic thought in treating hoarseness with acupuncture and moxibustion, observe the clinical effect of deficient heat type chronic simple laryngitis with professor Xieqiang’s TiHuGunDing needling method.Method:theoretical study:1 coordinating and analyzing of lierature:summarize Pro-fessor Xieqiang’s experience and academic thought in treating hoarseness by collat-ing and reading literature.2expert interview:discuss the TCM etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, TCM in prevention and treatment, interventional effect of acupuncture and moxibustion and curative effect with professor Xieqiang. It was raised which basic thinking and main point before interview, then was supplemented and perfected.3observations on case:it was gathered which the case of hoarseness in Xieqiang’s acupuncture and moxibustion.analysed the etiology, TCM syndrome, therapeutic method by statistical method.then summarized the way and method for TCM diagnosis and treatment.Clinical study:100 patients of deficient heat type chronic simple laryngitis were randomly divided into curative group and control group with the proportion of 1:1.Both groups had no obvious differences in biologic and clinical precondition. Curative group were treated by TiHuGun Ding needling method, Every other day, one therapy session is 2weeks, every patient of curative group must be treated two session.The control group patients were treated by JinSangQingYingWan,6g every times, twice a day, one therapy session is 2weeks, every patient of curative group must be treated two session and followed up for 3 month.each group were received symptoms of functional indicators scoring and voice acoustic test analysis at the time of one day before operation and the second week and the forth week after treatment, set up the database, All data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 statistic systems, use the method of t-test, X2 test or Ranks test, To assess the otherness of the two different treatment project.Results:theoretical study:professor Xieqiang has a profound research of hoarseness, he thinks hoarseness may be divided into 16 categories, and put forward corresponding pathogenesis, therapeutic principles and prescription.he thinks the main pathogenesis of hoarseness is channels and collaterals malaise or channel-qi disadvantage which because by exopathogens, function imbalance of internal organs and pathological products.professor Xieqiang pointed out that acupuncture and moxibustion can treat hoarseness by stimulating meridian acupoint, experienced point, points selected on the basis of syndrome differentiation.at the same time, he Created a variety of acupuncture method, for example, TiHuGun Ding needling method. Clinical study:the cure rate of the curative group was70% at the second week after treatment, while at the forth week, the cure rate was 90%, the cure rate of the control group was 76% at the second week after treatment, while at the forth week, the cure rate was 86%. At the third month’s consultation, the control group have two recrudescent patients, while the curative group have one recrudescent patients.Symptoms of functional indicators scoring result:There were statistically significant between the Symptoms of functional indicators scoring before treatment and the Symptoms of functional indicators scoring at the second week and the forth week after treatment.Computer voice acoustic test analysis results:compared with the day before treatment, the second week and the forth week after treatment, there were statistically significant to fundamental frequency perturbation, amplitude perturbation, normalized noise energy and maximum hponation time. While there has not statistically significant between the curative group with the control group. As she was for the rehabilitation of the fundamental frequency perturbation (Jitter), the amplitude perturbation (Shimmer) and the normalized noise energy(NNE) decline different in degree, while the maximum hponation time (MPT) is gradually rising.Conclusion:1.Professor Xieqiang thinks the main pathogenesis of hoarseness is channels and collaterals malaise or channel-qi disadvantage, it may be benefit for prevention and cure of hoarseness if which be subdivided, he Created a variety of acupuncture method which can treat hoarseness effectively, those method are easy to operate and generalize.2.TiHuGuanDing needling method can treat deficient heat type chronic simple laryngitis, the clinical efficacy is significant.3.TiHuGuanDing needling method can effectively improve the acoustic parameters of deficient heat type chronic laryngitis and the vocal function.4.Through the study, we speculate that the mechanisms of TiHuGuanDing needling method on chronic simple laryngitis maybe improve biological characteristics, alleviate laryngeal mucosa edema, congestion, vascular permeability, glandular secretion, improve the mucosal microcirculation and relieve the invasion of lymphocyte and inflammatory cells.
