Objective:This project in Guangzhou China and Hanoi Vietnam uses epidemiological methods for analyzing the distribution of TCM constitution types in patient with Chronic Gastritis (CG), and the relationship between TCM constitution and TCM syndrome type, laboratory tests and syndrome differentiation. It explores the internal relationship and regular connection between TCM constitution and TCM syndrome type, for the purpose of providing a theoretic foundation for study of TCM constitution, which can be a new way to prevent and treat CG in my country. Methods:With a method of combining literature and clinical research,686 patients of CG are chosen to take a questionnaire. All the data is recorded in Excel table, statistical research including the patient’s sex, age, profession, living situation, TCM syndrome and TCM constitution, processed by SPSS 16.0 statistical software to analyze the relationship between TCM constitution andsyndrome types. Results:The results of this study:1. In Guangzhou’s and Hanoi’s chronic gastritis patients symptom have different characteristics:Guangzhou group’s prevalence of male to female ratio is about 1:1, Hanoi group’s is about 1.5:1. Hanoi group’s male patients prevalence more than Guangzhou group’s (P=0.015). Both groups were 26 to 45 age patients are mostly, the number of cases distributed gradually increasing trend, Guangzhou group accounted for 53.8% and accounted for 71.0%. In Guangzhou group, the average age was 42.2+13.3 years; in Hanoi group, the average age of 36.8±9.6 years, more significant differences between two groups of age (P<0.001). The prevalence of patients with family history of Hanoi and Guangzhou closely than patients. Guangzhou group’s gastrointestinal comorbidities than patients were gastroesophageal reflux disease, ulcerative esophagitis and chronic colitis. Hanoi group’s patient is irritable bowel syndrome and gastroesophageal reflux disease, two diseases associated with gastrointestinal conditions obvious difference was statistically significant (P=0.009). The disease incidence in the winter most of the impact of climate change is greater than in Guangzhou group’s patients with patients 27.0% showed no significant seasonal incidence of the former, Hanoi group’s patients the latter of this probability was 47.2%, the difference was statistically significant (P=0.001). Guangzhou group predisposing factors in patients with chronic gastritis were more emotional factors, dietary factors and climate change considerations, Hanoi group’s patients affected by dietary factors is the biggest influence, predisposing factors between the two groups was statistically significant cases (P<0.001). In addition, the two groups of patients occupation, education, duration, etc. were significantly different.2. The survey found that 10 kinds of symptoms most frequently (frequency more than 50%). In 341 cases patients of Guangzhou group, the most frequent symptoms of epigastric fullness (86.2%); secondly, epigastric pain, belching, epigastric blocking nausea, regurgitation, heartburn, decreased appetite, reduce appetite, fatigue, irritability. In 345 patients of Hanoi group, the most frequent symptoms of epigastric pain followed by, epigastric fullness, belching, fatigue, acid reflux. The two main symptoms characteristic of chronic gastritis was statistically significant (P<0.05). Tongue aspect, patients surveyed, Guangzhou group set up to frequency of occurrence tongue pink (23.8%), followed by dark light, red, dark red. Hanoi group’s patients were the most common tongue pale dark pink, light, red, Guangzhou tongue more common in patients with thin coating thickness (42.5%) and thicker (34.3%). Hanoi group’s patient is thin fur (55.7%), less and less thick fur, fur color Guangzhou group is more than common were white and yellow (28.2%), white, yellow and yellow, Hanoi patient group’s are white and yellow (35.4%), white and yellow. Two tongue, the tongue and the tongue characteristic difference was statistically significant (P<0.001). Pulse, the Guangzhou group’s patients pulse frequency up to 42.8% sequentially shen, thin, weak, and slide the string, string Hanoi’s patients was 29.6%, shen, weak and thin. Combination of two kinds of pulse, Guangzhou group’s patients more common was fine (16.4%), shen string, string tight, Hanoi group’s is shen string, shen thin and taut.3. Name of disease diagnosis Guangzhou group epigastric pain 48.4%, accounting for 41.3% fullness, epigastric pain Hanoi group accounted for 62.6%, accounting for 34.2% fullness. TCM syndrome diagnosis,341 cases and 345 cases of Guangzhou and Hanoi patients, both groups had liver and stomach syndrome was significantly higher than the frequency of other syndromes (41.3% of Guangzhou, Hanoi is 42.0%). Followed in descending order of liver spleen syndrome, spleen and stomach, Spleen, stomach yin deficiency syndrome, stomach meridian stasis syndrome. Guangzhou group spleen patients (12.5%) more than Hanoi group (5.5%), but Hanoi group spleen and stomach patients more than Guangzhou group, this difference was statistically significant (P=0.003). In Hanoi group, there is no observed in the presence of typical stomach meridian stasis syndrome.4. Endoscopic diagnosis, according to statistics endoscopy report is divided into three categories:chronic superficial gastritis, chronic superficial gastritis with erosion, chronic atrophic gastritis; wherein the occurrence rate of chronic superficial gastritis group and Guangzhou Hanoi no significant group differences (respectively 62.8% and 69.0%), chronic superficial gastritis with erosion occurrence rate (29.6%) groups than in Guangzhou and Hanoi group (16.2%), but the rate of occurrence of chronic atrophic gastritis group than Guangzhou and Hanoi group (14.8%), the difference was statistically significant (P=0.001). Endoscopic performance, Guangzhou patient’s bile reflux, erosive esophagitis in patients with symptoms common in Hanoi, atrophy, duodenal ulcer inflammation than Hanoi groups. Hp infection detection result, Guangzhou group patients Hp positive was 59.3% probability; Hanoi group’s patients infected with Hp positive probability was 71.5%, respectively Hp infection probability difference was statistically significant (P=0.002).5. Chinese medicine, the Guangzhou group giving more for spleen qi, liver qi stagnation, phlegm, Hanoi used to group multiple liver qi stagnation, acid suppression, huoxuezhitong, spleen. Chinese medicine use statistics, Guangzhou group uses frequencies above 25.0% of the 20 herbal medicine according to the frequency from high to low, respectively: gancao、fuling、baizhu、zisugeng、zhike、baizishen、haipiaoxiao、dafupi、 chaihu、duanzheshi、pugongying、baishao、muxiang、baihuashe etc. Hanoi high frequency of drug group were:gancao, lakhoi, dangshen, chaihu, baizhu, baishao, haipiaoxiao, pugongying, fuling, zhike etc. Guangzhou group frequently used taizishen, duanzheshi, jiubiying,3 flavor drugs will be saved, but no appears Hanoi group.6. In short, according to SSD-PRO scale and TCM results showed, Hanoi group’spatients with chronic gastritis the quality of life higher than Guangzhou group’s patients. Conclusion:Chronic gastritis patients of Hanoi compared to Guangzhou’s found that symptoms, syndrome diagnosis, use of medicines and patient quality of life have more differences. Hanoi group’s patients younger than the average age of patients in Guangzhou. Hanoi male prevalence in women; Guangzhou diseases predisposing factors for the most common emotional factors, dietary factors are the patient. The main symptoms of patients with the most common of Guangzhou epigastric fullness, while Hanoi is epigastric pain patients based; Guangzhou nature of the disease in patients with predominantly liver and stomach Yu heat therapy using liver qi stagnation phlegm -based, the patient is Hanoi common liver spleen, liver and stomach spleen to be paramount.
