Section One:The Incidence of Sinusitis in 1-12 Years Old Children with Magnetic Resonance ImageObjective:To Investigate the incidence of asymptomatic sinusitis in 1-12 years old childrenby magnetic resonance imaging..Methods:Collected pediatric patients with MR examination from June 2010 to June 2014 to our hospital. According to the age is divided into 12 ages 1-12 years old。According to the application for check parts into the brain and the pituitary gland in the two groups, which the inspection scope includes sinus level.According to the sinusits imaging diagnostic criteria, as long as the scanning field sinus inflammatory change can be diagnosed with sinusitis, only to statistical results, analysis of the sinus score.Result:Conducted among 5128 cases of cranial MRI observation,3326 cases of male,1802 cases were female.3900 cases of cerebral MRI. The total positive rate was 32.53% in 1178 cases of sinus, Positive rate began to appear obvious growth since the age of 2,3-8 years old is the platform stage, then continue to grow, to peak age of 11,12 years old a bit, the Pearson Correlation analysis, the Correlation coefficient is 0.771, has significant Correlation.470 cases of sinus change in pituitary check which total positive rate 39.90%, and thepositive rate increased gradually. The Pearson Correlation is 0.685 and has a significant Correlation. Conclusion:As the conclusion is that asymptomatic children sinusitis incidence was 32.53%, the incidence Increased with the age and reached peaks at 2 to 6 years age then gradually reduced.Section Two:Children’s Nasal Septum Deviation and the Correlation of Sinusitis Incidence AnalysisObjective:To investigate the incidence of nasal septum deviation in 1-12 year old children by sinus CT and explore the correlation between the nasal septum and sinusitis. Methods:Collected thechildren whose sinus CT were exam-inated from June 2010 to June 2014 in our hospital.According to the age of 1 to 12 years old is divided into 12 graders. There nearly 50 children at each age was selected randomly and the septum deviation angle was measured. The deviation angle and deflection of nasal septum was recorded. The maxillary sinus, ethmoid sinus, sphenoid sinus and frontal sinus inflammation were recordedacording to according to how much pus. No pus to Opoint; With pus but not full of sinus cavity give 1 point;Pus sinus cavity, gives two points. The sidesof left and right are calculated respectively; The sinusitis can be diagnosed as long as there is on one side of the inflammation. The incidence ofnasal septum deviation and sinusitis in each age.To observe the correlation between age and incidence of nasal septum deviation, the relations between the deflection of nasal septum with sinusitis. Results:There 642 cases were conducted which include379male 263female. Nasal septum center was 432 cases and nasal septum left was 111 cases, right 98 cases, there were 152 cases concurrent sinusitis in nasal septum center and 59 cases complicated with sinusitis in nasal septum left and 46 casesnasal concurrent sinusitis in septum right. The incidence of nasal septum deviation increases with age and the correlation coefficient r=0.904.The incidenceof sinusitis has no correlationwith ageincreases and thep is 0.330. There exists significant differenceof sinusitis incidence in patients with different age groups and the pvalue< 0.001.1 years old children has the least incidence of in all groupsis 18%.3 years oldchildren has the maximum incidence ofin all groups is 52.17%.Conclusion:Nasal septum curvature increases along with the age increasing. there is no obvious correlation with sinusitis incidence about age but There exists significant differenceof sinusitis incidence in patients with different age groups.Part TWO:Children Acute Sinusitis Conservative Treatment of Orbital CellulitisObjective:To observe children’s acute sinusitis with non-surgical treatment of orbital cellulitis effect, discus-ses the feasibility of the treatment. Methods:A retrospective analysis of our hospital from January 2010 to December 2014,57 cases of acute sinusitis with the clinical data of children orbital cellulitis and record the treatment procedure and follow-up results.Results:57 cases with 32 cases of male, female 25 cases, with an average age of 5.6 years, all are unilateral onset, left 37 cases,20 cases on the right side, after treatment for 2 days peri-orbit swelling, congestion, pus stuff, spirit better, significant eyelids open big, eyeball outward ease, fourth day peri-orbit congestion disappeared basically, eyelids open, eyeball is of no obvious outward side, on the sixth day peri-orbit hyperemia swelling subsided, eyelid normal opening and closing, the seventh day peri-orbit appearance without exception,7-9 days out of the hospital. The average period of treatment for 7 days, the shortest 4 days out of the hospital, the longest 9 days out of the hospital, all children with orbital subperiosteal abscess formation, no intracranial complications, follow-up of 3 months, no recurrence were cured. Conclusion:The orbital cellulitis of cute sinusitis in children can be recovered if we had the reasonable non-surgical treatment and no complications occued.
