Part ⅠSexual life in young stroke patientsObject:The present study sought to determine the impact of stroke on sexual life quality, and to discuss the possible risk factors.Method:49post-stroke patients aged under55were selected in73patients in out-hospital department from October2014to January2015in this study. We reviewed the available records about medical information and investigate on sexual situation before and after stroke, sexual attitude and erection function on male patients by means of questionnaire and scale. Results:A majority part of patients (83.7%) reported a marked decline in libido (63.3%), sex frequency (59.2%), erectile (51.3%) and vaginal lubrication (60%). The percentage premature ejaculation in post-stroke males remarkably rised to46.2%. Sexual satisfication decreased from pre-stroke91.8%to post-stroke24.5%accompanied with negative attitude toward sexual life. Hypertension, using ACEI/ARBs and being anxious about stroke recurrence are possible risk factors for post-stroke ED in males through comprehensively analysis. However, we did not find risk factors for decreased libido. Conclusion:Impaired sexual activity in post-stroke patients resulting from many factors is common and neglected. We should pay much attention to it and provide reasonable rehabilitation therapy for post-stroke patients to make effort to improve sex quality in stroke patients. Part ⅡGastrointestinal hemorrhage in acute ischemic stroke Object:To discuss the probable risk factors of gastrointestinal(GI) hemorrhage in acute ischemic stroke, and detect if the combination use of aspirin and clopidogrel increases the hemorrhage risk. Discuss if the use of ulcer prophylactic decreases the risk of GI bleeding.Method:654acute ischemic stroke patients from September2013to May2014were included in this study. We reviewed the available medical records for any episode of GI hemorrhage, possible precipitating factors and administration of ulcer prophylaxis.Results:Forty-four patients (6.73%) experienced GI hemorrhage. By using univariate analysis, the independent risk factors are age, sex, stroke history and so on. The combination use of clopidogrel and aspirin does not increase the occurrence of GI hemorrhage. Post-stroke patients take no benefits by using ulcer prophylaxis. Conclusion:Stroke patients with old age, massive ischemic focus and anticoagulants are more likely to develop GI bleeding, and prophylaxis did not benefit; further study are needed to detect the GI hemorrhage in long and short-term complications in stroke, the effect of prophylaxis should also be evaluated in prospective researches.
