The Influence Factors For Peritumoral Anginogenesis Of The Dura And Its Potentail Function In The Resection Of Convex Meningiomas

The meningioma originated from arachnoid cells, but the invasion into the dura especially to the dural capillary contribute to the development of the tumor. Our study selected a total of42patients which were suffered convex meningiomas and were admitted in our hospital during2012to2013(WHO120patients,WHO Ⅱ18patients and WHO Ⅲ4patients)。 All the MRI and pathohistological files were taken as recoreds and associated withThe operation ducuments. Through these files we fing continuous or discontinuous anginogenesis of the peritumoral dura which about15±3.8mm from the edge of the tumors(WHO Ⅰ20patients,WHO II15patients and WHO Ⅲ4patients). We named this kind of aginogenesis "pritumoral angingenesis zone"(PAZ). The meningioma "dural tail sign" has close relationship with the PAZ. The pathologitacal section of the PAZ induced strong blood vessel hyperplasia. We can reach Simpson0degree section of the tumor if we choose the lateral border of the PAZ as resection range. This mean the PAZ can be a sign of excision extension during the operation of convex meningiomas...
