Research On Academic Schools Of Paediatric Massage In Comtemporary Qilu

Objective: To analyze the formation, development of three major schools of Qilu pediatric massage (Three-Character-Scripure school, Zhang Han-chen school, Sun Chong-san school) and to summarize their characteristics and inheritance by combing through their development venation.Methods: Methods of philology, statistics and on-the-spot investigation were used in combination. Method of Chinese medical philology was used to comb the relevant literature of three major schools of Qilu pediatric massage. Method of mathematical statistics was used to analyze their clinical application of acupoints selection. Through on-the-spot investigation, the author obtained the understanding of schools of pediatric massage from famous pediatricians and made an investigation on the current status of schools of pediatric massage and their development trend.Results and conclusion:1) Academic origin and development venation of three major schools of Qilu pediatric massage were clarified.2) The overall appearance of three major schools was preliminary outlined, including their representative characters, genre features such as academic origin, characteristics of diagnosis and treatment, characteristics of manipulation and acupoints selection, and inheritance such as academic genealogy, literature development, academic development and influence.3) It laid an academic foundation for the national study of pediatric massage and provided a large amount of materials.4) Suggestions and countermeasures were given according to the current situation of three major schools of Qilu pediatric massage.
