Urban rail transit is a major part of the metropolitan transportation for residents travel provider huge supply. It is an important transport mechanism to convenience urban residents travel and ease urban traffic. The current rail transit construction of major cities have been formed in the early stages of the network. The backbone of its role in the urban passenger rail system has become more evident. To play a key role, urban rail transit must has a complete rail network. But more important is to achieve good cohesion and connection with other modes. Thus contributing to enhance the overall system of urban passenger transport performance.Firstly, this paper starts from the subway network to study the characteristics and radiation characteristics of its services. Combined subway network and urban spatial orientation effect of land use, supply and demand relationship and coupled model, and analyzes the dual relationship. In accordance with the MTR network connection properties, the run benefits and the coordination the city to establish a network of subway service level assessment system.Secondly, this paper anaylzes the spatial and temporal distribution of passenger stations. Put forward two specific classification method base on land and location. Through comparison the result of the two classification methods, study the various categories in different ways share transfer, it get a different station categories corresponding primary transfer mode.Thirdly, it studies bus and subway connections. This section analyzes the bus and subway transfer mechanism, mainly from network convergence of content, adjust the existing bus network and metro network optimization, the new bus lines and subway optimization model, network optimization methods. For bus stops and subway connection aspects, it mainly studies from the positional relationship between the connection layout mode, bus and subway stations, subway stations set up around. Finally, an example of Xi’an Metro Line case analysis.Fourth, it studies car and subway transfer relation. This part is from the car and subway transfer mechanism, constructing a generalized cost model of car and subway transfer, and identifying the weight calculation. According to the generalized cost model to calculate the proportion of park and ride the subway station, and then determine the location of park and ride sites. Finally, Xi’an Subway Line 2 as an example, a case study.Finally, it studies the relationship between bicycle and subway transfers. This part analyzes the characteristics of the bike, bicycle and subway connections characteristic; bicycle subway connection status and characteristics, and summarized the connection status of public bicycle subway characteristics; studies transfer facility siting. Finally, Xi’an Subway Line 2 Sports Park Station as an example a case study.
