| Eco-villages are a type of human sustainable residential community which has been appearing and growing in the West Country from late 20 th century. Eco-village has developed more than 30 years as a new way of life, it has become a ecological community as a whole which integrates ecology, culturing and sociality in one. As one of important part of eco-village, landscape investigateion should not only be restricted to a single functional modernism, physical space form or ecological systems, but be included in a wider multidimensional view, to give fully play to its comprehensive impact on coordinating interaction between nature, culture and social-ecological systems.Firstly, the dissertation separately elaborates the theoretical basis of landscape construction of eco-village in four aspects: ecology theory, landscape ecology, “permaculture design” theory in eco-village and "complex systems" theory, to provide theoretical guidance for landscape practice of eco-village. Then we clear up the basic characteristics and development status of eco-village by information consulting and analysis. We do a descriptively research on different kinds of landscape morphology of eco-village and conclude the general and typical landscape features, finally sum up three landscape properties of eco-village. Secondly, combining with analysis of landscape properties, the dissertation brings up and elaborates eco-village landscape composition on an integrated and systematic viewpoint, in order to establish the overall cognitive system of eco-village landscape. It will spread out discussion mainly from three layers: natural landscape, productive landscape and cultural landscape.And more, combining with typical eco-village cases, the dissertation establishes Landscape Construction Model of Eco-village(practice strategy system) with a multi-level structure analysis method, separately deconstructs landscape environment in three layers: natural ecology, humanistic ecology and social ecology. It aims to promote and achieve the interaction and coordinating development between people and environment of nature, culture and society, using landscape design strategy, to realize the sustainable development of ecology, culture, society and many other aspects. On the natural ecology dimension, a dynamic natural ecological landscape system which is natural, efficient and has certain self-sustaining ability is created, by actively applying appropriate landscape ecological technology practice in four aspects: resource utilization, site design, “blue-way” and “green-way” landscape design. On the humanistic ecology dimension, we point out the humanistic ecology landscape construction strategies of eco-village in two aspects of design and construction of “image landscape” and “demads-behavior-construction”. On the social ecology dimension, the dissertation studies on the landscape measures to improve the socio-ecological relationships in three layers: system, concept and design level, and the positive role of it to promote social ecological harmony of eco-village.At last, the dissertation concludes the comprehensive approach of landscape construction of eco-village. Aiming at the current ecological crisis and the need for community development, on the basis of comparative analysis and study of eco-villages difference at home and abroad, the dissertation seeks for the growth mechanism of Chinese “Eco-village” under the influence of theory and practices of western Eco-villages: it tries to put forward the overall applicable strategies of "Eco-village" in China and the basic logic of landscape construction of eco-community combining with China’s national conditions, under the background of international Eco-village movement and urban-rural areas integrated building in China, providing a useful reference for the ecological community construction in China. |
