Abstract/Summary:
With the developing of the city’s construction, the columns and beams bear higher load than before due to the extension in height and span of building. They must provide high strength, small cross-section, high ductility, convenience of construction, economical and practical to fit for the safety and using of the buildings. In order to meet the demand, a new type structure of steel tube filled with steel reinforced concrete was drawn forth. In this paper, based on the achievements in steel tube concrete, steel reinforced concrete and steel tube filled steel reinforced concrete; author used experimental, numerical and theoretical methods to study the properties of square steel tube filled with steel reinforced concrete. The major contents are summarized as follows:Stress-strain relationship of steel and concrete was used to develop a nonlinear analysis program of axial load. Through analyzing the calculated results, author got easier formula. In addition, behavior and mechanism of square tube filled with steel reinforced concrete columns subjected to axial load were investigated.A nonlinear program was developed to study the bending properties by using fiber model method. Through analyzing the results of simulation, author got easier formula of bending capacity. Superposition method was used to calculate the cross-sectional bending capacity. In addition, behavior and mechanism of square tube filled with steel reinforced concrete columns subjected to bending load were investigated. This paper presented an experimental research of square steel tube columns filled with steel reinforced high strength concrete subjected to eccentric load. A nonlinear program was developed to study the properties of eccentric load column by using fiber model method. Formulas for eccentrically-loaded columns were proposed through analyzing the parameters and calculated results. In addition, superposition method was used to calculate the cross-sectional capacity subjected to eccentric load. Finally, behavior and mechanism of square tube filled with steel reinforced concrete columns subjected to monotonic eccentric load were investigated. This paper presented an experimental research of square steel tube columns filled with steel reinforced high strength concrete subjected to axial compression and bi-axial bending moment. A nonlinear program was developed to study the properties of column subjected to axial compression and bi-axial bending moment by using fiber model method. In addition, formulas for columns subjected to axial compression and bi-axial bending moment were proposed through analyzing the calculated results. Finally, behavior and mechanism of square tube filled with steel reinforced concrete columns subjected to axial compression and bi-axial bending moment were investigated. This paper presented an experimental research of square steel tube columns filled with steel reinforced high strength concrete subjected to compression-bending-shear. Finite unit method was used to simulate its properties. In addition, formulas for compression-bending-shear capacity and shear capacity were proposed through analyzing the calculated results.
