Piezoelectricity and triboelectrification are very common and intuitive physical phenomenon. Both of them have a very long history. In modern times, piezoelectricity is widely applied in sensing and detecting field. However, triboelectrification is regarded as a threat to avoid in most instances. Recent years, various functional devices have been invented. With the improvement of people’s life quality. As the popularization of nano/micro functional devices, its requirement is becoming more and more high to these devices, especially the issue of energy supply. Consequently, maintenance-free portable self-power system has attracted more and more attention. The self-powered system could harvest energy from ambient sources and convert them into electricity to power electrical devices. And it can work continuously and independently, without the need of external electric power source. Piezoelectric nanogenerator and triboelectric nanogenerator, which utilize piezoelectric effect and triboelectrification to convert mechanical energy to electrical energy, are very suitable as a power source for self-powered system. In this thesis, aiming at different environmental mechanical energy and combining the characters of piezoelectric nanogenerator and triboelectric generator, we put forward different designs to harvest different environmental energy. These generators can collect the sound energy, magnetic energy or the body motion energy and turn them into electrical energy effectively. Besides, these generators can combine some functional devices to form self-powered systems. In addition, we also studied how to increase the output energy and output efficiency. Up to know, we have made progress on the selection of materials, structural designs, and compound materials. |
