With the worsening of the world’s energy problems, the research on energyconservation especially on building energy efficiency has become a common subjectof concern in the world. At present, the building energy efficiency in-depth study onthe construction of new materials, new processes, new building components andconstruction methods, and the use of new energy has a lot of development. But thereis no study on energy-saving building design considering solar radiation factors whichimpacted on energy consumption. The study on the quantitive relationships betweenbuilding design parameters and building energy-saving, can promote the developmentof the theory of building energy-saving design,and can be a good control ofenergy-saving effect in architecture design will be very beneficial to the wholeenergy-saving design work.For the first, this paper analyzes the characteristics of residential buildingsbodydesign in the cold regions, to extract the building body design parameters whichaffected building energy efficiency, such as shape of plane, flat length, flat width andbuilding height. Then the author took a research on residential buildings in Tianjin, todetermine the threshold of the design parameters.Secondly, comparing and analysising of the main energy simulation softwarecurrently, the paper selected the DesignBuilder to study the relationship betweenresidential building design parameters and energy consumption through simulation.And according to the characteristics of the software, the author determined theboundary conditions and simulation methods of the energy consumption models.Thirdly, with the residential flat shapes, flat length, flat width and building heightas the variables, energy simulation experiments were done. Using statistical methods,this paper used regression analysis to handle analog conclusions and analysisedvariance of the corresponding variable, to get the trend of building energyconsumption with the design variables, the impact of various variables on energyconsumption and the quantitative relationship between various variables and energyconsumption.Furthermore, the author integrated all datas of energy simulation to get thefunctional relation sounds the relationship between plane length, width, height and thebuilding energy consumption. Then the values of design parameters which has the most favorable energy-efficient were found in order to achieve the minimum energycondition. And the building was adjusted using the values of window to wall and heattransfer coefficient of building envelope. In accordance with the quantitativerelationship, this study developed the residential building body energy efficiencyoptimization design system, for residential designenergy-saving effect of judgment.Finally, the author tested the energy consumption of built residential buildings inTianjin, and obtained the buildings’ energy consumption using the residential buildingbody energy efficiency optimization design system. And this paper analysised the fourdatas to verify the reliability of the building energy-saving design system.
