Mining wasteland is a concomitant with the development of mineral resources. The presence ofa large number of mining wasteland caused a series of ecological, social and economic problems, which affected the sustainable development of the mining area seriously. Therefore, thereclamation and utilization of mining wasteland has become a very urgent task in our country. However, the lack of scientific planning in the process of mining wasteland reusing at present leadto the utilization of mining wasteland with blindness, land use structure irrational and lowefficiency of reclamation land.In this study, the spatial optimum allocation of mining wasteland was researched based onprevious studies. Mining wasteland classification system was established and the survey methodof mining wasteland supported by3S technology was anvanced; mininig wasteland reusingpotential evaluation index system was constructed and GIS, AHP and fuzzy comprehensiveevaluation were coupled which could evaluate the potential of mining wasteland reusing in thespace grid scale by space fuzzy evaluation model; land-use structure optimization model wasestablished by ecological footprint and multi-objective method, which could get the result ofspatial structure of mining wasteland associated with GA; mining wasteland reusing managementinformation system was developed which realized the integration of wasteland reusing fromsurvey and optimization of structure to project management for acceptance.
