In recent years, the theory of chaos has become a hot research field, we get a lot of valuable research results in synchronization and security of information, also, we make the research results in out everyday life. As an important branch of nonlinear field, chaos is so closely with our life that we can’t leave chaos in daily life. In this paper, I introduce the generation,conception and some basic research methods and contents of chaos theory, research in the application of information security and synchronous control of chaos theory, the main results are as follow:In the field of system synchronization, I start form familiar chaos system, use two feedback control plan which is linear and nonlinear, propose a new method which can be used to achieve mixed synchronization, and design two feedback function, make much analysis and calculation, combined with simulation, get the heterogeneous synchronization of linear and nonlinear system, compared with previous method, the comptational quantity is less, I can quickly calculate the relevant results with computer, It can make two different response system and drive system to realize the synchronization, also I can get good application in the study of super chaotic system.I propose a new algorithm in information encryption, design two chaotic system, it has better security than the one chaotic system, also, I find the previous method is not good enough because it can’t able to resist against the plaintext attack combined with detailed calculation, then I start from the essence of mathematical model, analysis the equations properties of previous method, propose a equation with no unique solution, it means the new algorithm can resist against the plaintext attack of attacker.Finally, I simulate a sinple image encryption algorithm, analysis some shortcomings of algorithm, propose a new method which can improve the previous one, when the plaintext pixels of image is changed, the ciphertext is no longer a simple influence of one to one, it becomes sensitive immediately, the correlation between adjacent pixels is also changed, then, the plaintext and the key is contacted in the process of encryption, and the contact will be more complex, when the attackers want to decipher, it is unsuccessful only depending on the selection of plaintext attack and ciphertext attack, the process is not complicated by the use of computer, at the end of the paper, I achieve the improved algorithm with DSP, the chaos system has significantly improved in resisting attack.
