Tetrigid is an important component part of the biodiversity and animal fauna. Eecological distribution of tetrigid is closely allied to natural environment, in particular, some species are respond quickly to changes in environment, so some species are very important indicator species. Similarly, Tetrigids have sophisticated behavior, and they are ideal material of behavioral research in international academia. With the continuous deepening of taxonomic studies of the Tetrigoidea, the problems that exist in taxonomy constantly exposed. Firstly, tetrigoidea included 174 known species of China in 1998, and to date, tetrigoidea includes 780 known species, However, the fauna of Tetrigoidea of China is not clear. Secondly, classification criteria disunity, Tetrigoidea is poorly defined and its higher classification is unstable, definition of partial genus is not reasonable, differentiation between species are unclear and some of taxa are difficult to identify. Thirdly, for more than a decade, Tetrigoidea has not been systematically studied in China, so some of taxon can lead to synonym or homonym. Moreover, Tetrigoidea far behind other insects in this field of scientific study, and want to make sure of the biodiversity of Tetrigoidea further. Objective to investigate the fauna of Tetrigoidea of China, a standard of reasonable taxonomy established in Tetrigoidea, this paper based on extensive specimens and systematic collection and check holotype, systematic study of Tetrigoidea from China by using methods of morphology. The results are as follows:1. Taxonomy of Tetrigoidea is reviewed, and deals with 7 subfamilies, 57 genera and 780 species of Tetrigoidea occurring in China, morphological characteristics of each family and each genus in Tetrigoidea are redescribed in this present work, updated identification key to families and genera and all known species in Tetrigoidea and citation of species are presented. Number of specimens examined and distributional records are also provided.2. Fifty-one new species are described, namely: Saussurella brachycornis sp. nov., Austrohancockia latifemura sp. nov., Austrohancockia albitubercle sp. nov., Gibbotettix parvipulvillus sp. nov., Gibbotettix serrifemura sp. nov., Pseudepitettix convexa sp. nov., Pseudepitettix hainanensis sp. nov., Pseudepitettix strictivertex sp. nov., Paragavialidium tenuifemura sp. nov., Scelimena wuyishanensis sp. nov., Scelimena mellioides sp. nov., Criotettix tridentate sp. nov., Hebarditettix undatinota sp. nov., Hebarditettix longispina sp. nov., Eucriotettix curvinotus sp.nov., Loxilobus dolichonotus sp. nov., Loxilobus zhengi sp. nov., Xistra yuanbaoshanensis sp.nov., Xistra brevipennis sp.nov., Xistra xizangensis sp.nov., Xistra hainanensis sp.nov., Xistrella hainanensis sp.nov.,Paramphinotus xizangensis sp.nov., Macromotettixoides jinggangshanensis sp.nov., Macromotettix zhengi sp. nov.,Macromotettix brachyptera sp. nov., Cotysoides torulosinota sp.nov., Hyboella longhushanensis sp.nov., Mazarredia baditibialis sp.nov., Bolivaritettix torulosifemura sp.nov., Bolivaritettix xiangnanensis sp.nov., Bolivaritettix strictivertex sp.nov., Bolivaritettix yuexiensis sp.nov., Teredorus sanqingshanenensis sp. nov., Formosatettix prominemarginis sp. nov., Formosatettix nigrifemurus sp. nov., Coptotettix spicumarginis sp. nov., Tetrix albomarginisoides sp. nov., Tetrix dushanensis sp. nov., Tetrix lativertexoides sp. nov., Tetrix torulosifemura sp.nov.,Tetrix langshanensis sp.nov., Tetrix rongshuiensis sp.nov., Tetix baditibialis sp. nov., Alulatettix qianxiensis sp. nov., Alulatettix sichuanensis sp. nov., Alulatettix jiangxiensis sp. nov., Aalatettix bulbosus sp. nov., Euparatettix brevivalvus sp. nov., Euparatettix lativertex sp. nov., Bannatettix brevicornia sp. nov. The diagnosis and structure diagram are presented.3. Nine taxa are here regarded as synonym, namely: miriatroides Zheng & Jiang, 2002= synonym of Spadotettix Hancock, 1910; Xiaitettix emeishanensis Deng, Zheng & Yang, 2012 = synonym of Tuberfemurus laminatus Zheng, 1992; miriatroides quadrivertex Zheng & Jiang, 2002 = synonym of Spadotettix hainanensis Günther, 1939; Bolivaritettix jinzhaiensis Zha, Deng & Zheng, 2014 = synonym of Bolivaritettix circinihumerus Zheng, 2003; Bolivaritettix anhuiensis Zhang, Zha & Zheng, 2014 = synonym of Bolivaritettix sikkinensis( Bolivar, 1909); Coptotettix guangxiensis Jiang, Liang & Fang, 2014 = synonym of Tetrix guinanensis Zheng et Jiang, 2002; Tetrix grossus Zheng & Shi, 2003 = synonym of Tetrix dentifemorus Zheng & Shi, 2003; Tetrix gibbosa Zheng & Zha, 2011 = synonym of Tetrix gibberosa(Wang & Zheng),1993; Tetrix cliva Zheng & Deng, 2004 = synonym of Tetrix ruyuanensis Liang, 1998.4. Six species are new combination, namely Falconius longidorsalis(Zheng & Yang), comb. nov., Macromotettixoides longling(Zheng, Ou & Zhang) comb. nov., Teredorus anhuiensis(Zha, Deng & Zheng)comb. nov., Hedotettix baoshanensis(Zheng, Wei and Liu), comb. nov., Tetrix gibberosa(Wang & Zheng), comb. nov., Tetrix nanshanensis(Liang & Jiang), comb. nov.. Reason of revision and discussion are provided also.5. Four taxa are replacement name, namely Bentotettix(Liang, 1995) nom. nov., Bentotettix dinghuensis(Liang, 1995) nom. nov., Tetrix fuliginosaoides(Zheng & Xu, 2010) nom. nov., Formosatettix anhuiensis nom. nov.. Reason of revision is provided also.
