For a complex system, because it has the complex dynamic environment and huge energy, any latent faults or disturbances may lead to unpredictable losses. Therefore, the system design put forward higher requirements, hope that the system in the event of a failure and external disturbance, its stability, stability etc are still satisfied index. When suffering from external disturbance, the ecological systems can form efficient defense systems by using its own anti-interference and adaptability. It also reduces interference, absorb external disturbance, and maintain the functional integrity, so the system can maintain its steady state in a long time. In this paper, for a class of nonlinear system, by using the biological individual’s adaptive strategy to the change of environment, that is, the biological individual can not only adapt environment, but also develop and exploit it, for always evolving to its own benefit, and finally making the system achieve a state of equilibrium, we propose a fuzzy control method based on biological adaptive strategy.The main contribution of this paper lies in:embedding the biological adaption and corresponding strategy to environmental change in the design of conventional fuzzy system and fuzzy control, this design add the biological initiative adaption to the system, meanwhile reserve the characteristics of the conventional fuzzy system. The new system has transportability and easy to design by using the existing fuzzy system.1. We first establish type-1and type-2fuzzy systems based on biological adaptive strategy. Biological individual shows its adaptive strategy by the niche it occupies. In this paper, combining the’broadband’effect of the type-2fuzzy sets with the fuzzy sets theory of nested sets, we just give out a new fuzzy system based on the biological adaptive strategy, which is shown by the fundamental niche, the actual niche and ideal niche. 2. We give out a new fuzzy control based on the biological adaptive strategy. This paper systematically studies the indirect, direct and hybrid adaptive fuzzy control methods, and give out the design of the controller and parameter adaptive laws.3. We put forward Type-2fuzzy adaptive control based on biological adaptive strategy. Using the’broadband’effect of the type-2fuzzy sets and the biological individual’s ability of its gradually adaption to the environment in its evolutionary process, regarding closeness function of practical niche and optimum ecological niche as the consequent of fuzzy rules, we establish the type-2fuzzy controller with the characteristics of biological adaption. The stability of the system is guaranteed by the design of adaptive laws.4. We put forward backstepping fuzzy control method based on biological adaptive strategy. Introducing the anti-interference adaptive strategy of the biological individual to controlling supervision mechanism, we put forward a new adaptive backstepping fuzzy control method based on the niche. The design method of the controller makes the system output can track the reference signal, and all signals are consistent bounded, which guarantee the stability of the closed-loop system.5. We put forward the sliding mode control based on biological adaptive strategy. Introducing the biological adaption to the sliding mode control, we give effective estimation and redesign on switching gain, and also use switching gain to eliminate interference items and chattering, thus achieve the ideal state of the system.
