Taxonomy Of Cixiidae From China (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea)

The Chinese Cixiidae comprises two subfamilies, four tribes, 17 genera and 108 species. One new genus and 36 new species are described and all illustrated. One tribe, three genera and 15 species are recorded from China for the first time. Keys for identification of subfamilies, tribes, genera and species are provided. The phylogenetic relationships of the family is tentatively discussed using cladistic analysis of a morphological dataset.
