Research On The Strategy Of Independent Intellectual Property Rights In High-Tech Enterprises

The independent intellectual property right is one of the essential elements for high-tech enterprise, and is of great significance to its development, so the proper utilization of key techniques with independent IPR has become the most important competition power. Then how to upgrade the independent IPR? Firstly, the enterprise should make strategic arrangements and layout a series of methods to realize the project. While in respect of the existing condition for the high-tech enterprises in China, they haven't realize the significance of IPR strategy, and their R&D practice is only within the limitation of dispersal research, which greatly restrict the quantity, quality and overall arrangement of independent IPR, and decrease the competition power of high-tech enterprises, as a result, they are lower in competition power in comparison with multinational enterprises. In general, the research on strategy and management of independent IPR in high-tech enterprises is of great theoretic and practical significance.On the basis of strategy management theory and IPR theory, with the means of quantitative research and qualitative research, the main contents and results of this research can be listed as follows:Firstly, the dissertation constructs the evaluation model for the practical effect of independent IPR, which breaks through the condition that the evaluation model is only limited to quantity and quality of IPR. At the same time, the model selected four indexes of first degree such as the IPR situation, the creation situation, the patent application situation, IPR management and protection situation as well as fourteen indexes of second degree, so as to make the evaluation more conclusive, reasonable and directive to enterprises.Secondly, the dissertation revolves around the practical independent IPR condition of high-tech enterprises in Tianjin, bases on the literature research, acquires numerical data with the means of questionnaire investigation and typical case analysis, so that it validates the above evaluation model and makes some suggestions for independent IPR development of high-tech enterprises in Tianjin.Thirdly, the dissertation discusses the application model of patent portfolio, attempts to integrate patent portfolio theory into the strategically layout of IPR development. The dissertation makes research on the balanced development of independent IPR to upgrade the value of patent from the respect of conclusive expansion of patent portfolio. Furthermore, the dissertation attempts to evaluate if the IPR strategy is fit for market from the practical effects of patent portfolio.
