In the 30 years of reform and opening-up, China has seized the opportunity ofinternational industry transfer, with rapid economic growth, rapidly becoming theworld's manufacturing center.In the period of new development, our party and country have made majordecisions of strategy transition on national development in good time based on the graspof the situation of international economic, scientific and technological development,which is building an innovative country, changing the mode of economic growth,implementing the scientific concept of development, achieving sustainabledevelopment.The equipment manufacturing industry is the basal and pillar industry of thenational economy, whose technical level shows that of the country's, becoming thetechnical progress power to promote the industry sectors of the national economy aswell as the national economy. For this reason, China has given a great deal of concernon technical innovation and progress of the equipment manufacturing industry. Chinesepower generation equipment manufacturing industry is a major industry of largeequipment manufacturing industry, the technical innovation and progress of which havea great significance on the national security, as well as representatives of nationalproductivity. As a result, the study of innovation in this industry has an importanttheoretical and practical value.Based on the above-mentioned requirements, in particular, the theoretical andpractical needs of carrying out technical innovation and adjustment and optimization ofthe industrial structure in Chinese power generation equipment manufacturing industry,the author has chosen "A research on industry innovation of Chinese power generationequipment manufacturing enterprises based on value chain" as the dissertation topic,which has both theoretical and practical value: In theory, it will provide a framework forthe theory study of industry innovation in the perspective of enterprises; In practice, itwill provide thoughts for the scientific and sustainable development of Chinese power generation equipment manufacturing enterprises.On the basis of studying, absorbing, referring to the researches home and abroadon the field of value chain, industry innovation and so on, and clarifying the main bodyand research contents and vision, this paper focus on "value chain", "industryinnovation of enterprises", "power generation equipment manufacturing industry" andother key words in the title as well as the core content of which compose. According tothe study thought from theory to practice, it lay out on the structure from surface to line,from line to point, going on depth with layers, from the general framework oftheoretical research-- "research on industry innovation of enterprises based on valuechain" to the application of industry theory-- "research on industry innovation ofChinese power generation equipment manufacturing enterprises based on value chain",and then the case analysis "research on industry innovation of Dongfang Steam TurbineWorks based on value chain", carrying out an in-depth research of industry innovationof enterprises from the perspective of industry value chain. Therefore, the work in thepaper can be summarized mainly into three parts:Firstly, this paper will construct the general theory analysis and researchframework of industry innovation of enterprises based on value chain, which has theuniversal applicability, by studying the meaning and value of industry innovation, alongwith value chain, innovation value and industry structure, industry innovation choicebased on value structure, including the related concept, connotation, as well asinterrelation.Secondly, this paper follows the idea of "management is a practical subject",integrating theory with practice, and establish the basic research framework of industryinnovation of Chinese power generation equipment manufacturing enterprises based onvalue chain combining the theoretical analysis and framework in chapter 3 with thereality of power generation equipment manufacturing industry. It is the researchframework that is the core which is the realization route of industry innovation of powergeneration equipment manufacturing enterprises including technical innovation, valuechain innovation and industry clusters innovation.Thirdly, this paper follows the theoretical analysis and research framework ofindustry innovation of enterprises based on value chain, and then shifts the study centerfurther into the basic point of enterprises, Dongfang Steam Turbine Works, typical representative of Chinese power generation equipment manufacturing industry. In theconcrete, it has made the analysis and study of the practice of industry innovation inDongfang Steam Turbine Works, and summed up its innovation strategy, also exploredthe future value position of the enterprise as well as the evolution of innovation strategyin three aspects of industry innovation strategy based on technical innovation, valuechain, and industry clusters.What's more, the paper has three innovations with internal relations in the mainwork above-mentioned:Firstly, it has made in-depth systematic analysis of industry innovation ofenterprises based on value chain, and built a theoretical analysis and researchframework of industry innovation of enterprises based on value chain, by the study ofindustry innovation, value chain, industry innovation value, industry value structure andthe relationship between them.Secondly, it is integrating theory with practice that is very important, and on thebasis of analysis of Chinese power plants and power generation equipment industryvalue chain, it deepens and specifies the above theoretical analysis and researchframework, furthermore with the establishment of the framework of the realization routeof industry innovation of power generation equipment manufacturing enterprisesincluding technical innovation, value chain innovation and industry clusters innovation.Thirdly, this paper follows the theoretical analysis and research framework ofindustry innovation of enterprises based on value chain, and then the focus shifts fromindustry to enterprise, respectively with the analysis of three aspects--industryinnovation strategy based on technical innovation, value chain, and industry clusters,ultimately the practice of industry innovation in Dongfang Steam Turbine Works hasbeen studied, analyzed and refined.
